Just received the following email now. The statue arrived last Tuesday and I contacted Sideshow that same day. Fortunately, my regular version arrived fine and I managed to nab a really good deal on another Exclusive. Sorry for any attempted replacements after this.

"Dear Ryan,

Thank you for taking the time to contact our Returns Department. I’m sorry to hear that your Thor PF Exclusive Statue arrived flawed. Unfortunately, we no longer have replacements available for this item. Please know that the Returns Department strives to replace damaged items whenever possible and we regret that we are unable to do so in this case.


We would like to extend to you the offer of a $50.00 partial reimbursement to compensate for the flaws to your statue. Alternatively, if you wish to receive a full refund for the amount please let me know and I will provide instructions for our international/EU refund procedure.


As always, please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns."

Ouch that would suck as I would want the statue still.... So basically you take the $50 and deal with the flaws or get your $$$ back and have no PF...

Exact same response I received from SS in 2006 when my Wolverine Comiquette came with a dented base.

$50 credit or Full Refund.

I took the 50 and happy that I kept him because the dent was a shallow one and I'm not a flipper and I saved some money.

Your damages are much more visible than my Wolverine was so that blows.

Sorry to see that happen to anyone.

That is pretty though news! And to think that some - like myself - haven't even received this piece yet! I would like to know what is taking Sideshow so long!
 
What was the flaw?

The middle disc had quite a scuff in it, which can clearly be felt with your nail and fingertip. Shows up from ten feet away. There was a lighter scuff on one below his belt as well, but this was the big one. Totally unacceptable, despite this being one of the greatest statues I have ever seen in person. The worst part is I will be out the huge shipping fees plus customs charges getting it here. Balls.

Seems like the bad one's are slowly coming up.... I'm gettin a little agitated with SS lately. Red skull was a nightmare for buyers, SIM incident, LOTS of PF's and items are getting RIDICULOUSLY delayed NUMEROUS times, and I'm actually returning my Thor to the original seller. Had a few flaws also.....:tap

Red skull was a nightmare for buyers, SIM incident, LOTS of PF's and items are getting RIDICULOUSLY delayed NUMEROUS times, and I'm actually returning my Thor to the original seller. Does it means that SS's quality has drop rapidly? :monkey2
If this is the case, you'll be able to see more with Iron Spidey, green scar vs SS, Classic IM...etc :horror
 
Yeah,

I think someone should really start hating their IM Red-Gold Com because of this and sell it to me for $400 asap.

Speaking of the Iron Spider-Man comiquette, I'm getting REALLY nervous about their safety once they finally ship.

As for Thor, it seems most of the issues have been with the cape.
 
Looks like the defect items outweigh the no. of good ones so far. Worried about mine now.
