I enjoyed Iron Man 3.

IM3 far better than trainwreck IM2...
I liked the first Thor. So I was trying to gauge your tastes on these.....
guess I'll see it tomorrow. These reviews are far ranging ...from **** film to the best. :dunno

I'm liking Marvels new trend on not taking these movies seriously. It's working so well.

I want to see this again soon. That final battle was so creative.

Yeah, I'll probably be seeing it tomorrow as well.

I was biased against Thor when it first came out. I refused to see it and made jokes against it. The very idea of Thor getting a movie seemed ludicrous to me, on par with Green Lantern (which I saw and hated).

Then when it came out on DVD/Blu-Ray, I watched it for the lolz . . . and was quite wrong. The way they went about it actually worked for me and I ate a helping serving of crow. It was the right tone and mixed humor, drama and action quite well.

The movie is just a very basic revenge story, just like IM3.

Elf hates Asgard and light.

My wife felt Jane was just like Lois in MOS, every ****** place. :lol

Wife said Phase 2 so far a big failure.

I wil say that if you loved Odin in one, you will be disappointed with him in this one.

He's just tired and weary. :lol

Yep- Marvel made him work on film, a nice feat. The actors really sold it- they got lucky with a great cast.
On the other hand I fear Fantastic Four- they STILL don't seem right to make the transition..I hope I'm wrong. Marvel can't do FF like the previous films......they need something to tie it in with reality better...

Is it just me or is everybody else not even worried by those (knowing their taste) giving it negative reviews. :lol

I don't give a squat what others think, I'll make up my own mind. I do enjoy reading all the film critics in the movie thread (myself included).

Variety is the spice of life even when their wrong......:wink1:

I think all Marvel fans should be worried for phase 2. Iron Man 3 was terrible, and this movie at best was okay. Marvel really needs to cut out the terrible dialogue and humor in these films. I don’t know what separates these films from the Transformer films. Iron Man 1 and Thor 1 made me believe the studio was going to put out quality superhero films, but now they are just making uninspired blockbusters.

As much as I hated Iron Man 3, all the Marvel movies are way above Bayformers crap...:lol:lol:lol

I can't take anyone seriously if they hate Iron Man 3, let alone hate Iron Man 3 and call these last two films "Bayformers"...what in all of holy ****s people.

The people that hate Iron Man 3 hate it because they felt trolled.

Which is totally in character for someone as charismatic and devilish as Iron Man/Tony Stark.

Indeed. I feel like this movie was trolling pretty hard too. But in a different way. It's got so much weird crap in it that the average fan would be so turned off by it. You have SPACE ELVES. Space ELVES and giant monsters created by orbs of fire, spaceship battles, ground sword fights, and sucky bombs that crush you into nothing.

It's just about the weirdest thing Marvel has made so far. And I love them for that.

an off world adventure is the perfect venue for the spacey side of marvel. i loved the passing through realms during the fighting.

I saw the movie last night. It was good, but I don't know... it wasn't as enjoyable as I was hoping? I liked it but that's kinda it.

Not me. I hate it because I think it was a terrible film. There is just so much wrong with that movie. The whole Mandarin scene I thought was terribly executed and made into a joke, if it was shot more intelligently I wouldn’t have minded it.
