Darkened the beard a bit.

All these pictures look really good. I like the face/sculpt a lot more than I thought I would. My only gripe remaining is the hair... I don't like the hair line at the forehead and it looks weird the way it sticks out from his shoulders without his larger cape on.

I was trying really hard not to get into this line. Love the show but have been putting my medieval/fantasy space/money into LOTR for now. I might break down if someone is selling him at SDCC this year.

For all the guys on the fence about him now, I'd say get him while he's still $160. Once it sells out, it won't be anywhere near that.

really? i disagree cuz tyrion is still instock in most places at the retail price he started at.
:dunno

im only holding off cuz i would prefer the ex ver. dont want to get retail then see a reasonable priced ex for sale etc

I said once it sells out... All figures increase in value once they sell out.

ahh yeah agreed you are spot on. :)

i think it will be awhile tho. would imagine Tyrion is a more popular character and seem to be alot of that retailer ver. but yeah him and ned will def all increase in price given time and as we get further into line for sure. thankfully seems like threezero do large run for retail on all their figs.

Potential variations in paint?

Vincent Loh's photo from Facebook. Note the golden wash on Ice's pommel - mine lacks this. Face paint seems more neutral, but that could be the photo.

Matt Stein's photo from Twitter. Again the golden wash on the pommel. Face paint similar to mine with a very warm orange tone. Hair has highlights that I don't see on mine nor on the photo above.

Yeah, there at variations in the paint. I noticed it as soon as I saw Michael Crawfords review. I think his may be the best in hand pics I've seen so far.
Mine is also missing the golden wash on the pummel - it's much more dull. The skin tone also has an orange tinge. I do have highlights on the hair but nowhere near as prominent as above.

waiting for a better offer?.... cuz i can throw down another 25cents if needed! :wink1:

seriously tho still ex huntin. interesting that certain retailers got ned in and others have later dates, was like this with Tyrion. some get sooner than others.

Glad you posted this. When I opened my fig this was the first thing I noticed, the portrait was warmer than the pics we saw initially.

You have 2 days left to pay before negative feedback. Just saying.

:rotfl:rotfl

wonder whats up with paint variation like does it seem as tho the first to arrive were more orangey tone and less gold on pommel? wonder if its just batches that differ slightly.

also was it one per at time of PO? kinda surprised i havent seen sellers that got a few of the ex vers to sell on after.

Someone else took the same picture of Tyrion but with the letter opener. So I figured I take one with the threezero version just to see what it looks like as far as scale. So it's not my idea. :)

More pictures of Ned!! I'm loving this figure.
