So they bring these to display at some convention, and don't even bother painting up the prototypes beforehand? C'mon man.

:exactly: Horrible way to sell your product. No effort put into this at all.

If you scroll back, you'll see dozens of pages of incessant *****ing about then rushing Merle through production to make it to SDCC. Thanks for proving you really can't please anybody. :monkey1

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

Though I don't know if the previous Merle was really rushed or not, I would hope that there's some middle ground between rushing to put out something that doesn't cut the mustard from a sculpt or quality standpoint, and having an overly preliminary, and unattractive presentation when you go to publicly show off your product. But it's their product to present the way they want to.

Personally, I don't see it as unprofessional. The way I look at it ... we're always clamoring for news and they're giving us some. Actually I think it's pretty cool that they're letting us see stuff so early in the process. Showing unpainted protos isn't totally unheard of. Hot Toys has done it. If I recall correctly, Colson and the Chitauri Footsoldier were shown as unpainted protos at one show. Heck, as long as the finished production pieces are good, I'm happy!

Just my two cents. :peace

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

Given the choice between seeing nothing and an early sneak peek at a prototype, I'll take the latter.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

I just hope there are some characters at some point. ;)

It'll be risky buying the mules without Machone.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: AMC's The Walking Dead

All manufacturers use prototypes at various shows. This is nothing new. What the big deal?
