Didn't like the movie either and was about to give up on the mcu and it's broken universe until my favorite character came into play. I give it to dc for having all of there characters. Imagine a justice league without green lantern or Martian-. ooooooo... ooo my.

I don't think the new Spidey would work with Venom. He looks like a boy band member and has too much of a high school feel to him. It's a shame they dumped Garfield. I hope Venom keeps it's rated R status, but doubt it now that it's part of the MCU.

The MCU Spidey aka Iron Bi*** is immensely underwhelming.

I doubt Fleischer's Venom will have any connection to the MCU. Pascal is being asked a very uncomfortable question whilst sitting next to the MCU's showrunner, so blatantly stating [confirming] SONY is pursuing an independent R-rated universe would be awkward. Specially if the older Spider-Man/Gyllenhaal rumors are true.
