Nah .the lore better be intact and they better acknowledge Spider-Man and venom's hatred toward him. Right now it just seems like they are going to do a tortured hero angle. Also the movie should start off in jail when Eddie gets the black suit back and Cletus gets the symbiote .

I don't believe tom hardy can single handely save a movie.

I don't really care. MCU past Phase 1 is meh overall, also doin' too much things wrong.
Just gimme good looking Venom and a Hot Toys figure of him.

On one hand, this is SONY. On the other... the MCU prompted Marvel Comics to collapse, go full SJW (Waid's "proud" statement btw) and kill off all of our favorite characters in favor of cheap gimmicks and stunts, so... Whatever kills the MCU is fine by me. I mean, ****, did anybody see what LEGACY is? Either way, if it's good, it'll be yet another CBM that's not a comedy. If it's bad, it'll contribute to the CBM bubble bursting, which means no more normies infesting our niche market. It's a win-win scenario.

It's sad that we haven't gotten decent stories from marvel in years. All these new characters coming in just to pander to tumblr and burying characters cause they don't have the right in there movies. Hell I wouldn't mind if dc took over marvel while they get there **** together.

Did you see Marvel's latest announcement? Backstory is, that this Thursday, they promised a reveal that would "change the industry" coming this Friday (meaning yesterday). The reveal was... varaint "homage" covers to existing titles. Yup. That was supposed to change the industry. Moon Girl as the new "Fantastic 4" Replacement. Reeeeee-Reeee somehow battling Doom for the legacy of the comatose Tony based on the Iron Man 151 cover. Just... they couldn't be more pathetic...

Wow. Well it's clear as day that the writers at marvel write there characters very cliche and preachy. You can be fighting for a cause with out getting up in somesones face about it.

Further more I'm sick of characters piggy backing off established characters already. Tired of miles morales. He's being shoehorned into everything Spider-Man related. Why couldn't he just be a different character?

Yeah, well, I just want Iron Man back. And the Thunderbolts doing stupid **** while trying to reform. And the F4 exploring the cosmos. Moon Knight tracking down Werewolves and the Cigar-Smoking WWII Vet Nick Fury as the Director of SHIELD. Whatever brings these (amongst others) back, is fine by me. If the MCU has to crash and burn, well... so be it. If every single cinematic universe has to crash and burn as well... tough luck, but... fine by me. I just want my niche hobby back. No more normies REEEEEEEing, no more announcements on "The View", just... no more.

You haven't seen anything yet bucko. According to rumors the new characters are gonna get even more shilled. There's no escaping it. Marvel Comics would rather crash and burn rather than admit that they made a mistake. Not that they can, really. With the MCU and the normies the moment they stop pushing their diverse, strong, black womyn, to bring back the cishet Tony, is the moment the whole internet will tear them a new one.
