Top 5 videogames of all time

No offense to the people who think COD4 rates to be on this list, but I have to wholeheartedly disagree. All that game is, is a mindless shooter game. Requiring no skill like its predecessors (CS, Halo 2,....) and it didn't even make great strides in the graphics community. Now I understand you can sit in front of the TV for hours requiring no brain power to play this game, but it seriously does not deserve to be on this list. Maybe this is just because I'm old school and have been around the block but I can't believe I'm seeing this title in so many posts

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - This game has it all. The story is awesome and really pulls you in, the game play is simple to learn and fun to use and the game looks great for it's time. One of the best games ever.

2. Metal Gear Solid (PS1) - This game really showed what kind of story a game can really have. So deep and well told. Defined the stealth genre.

3. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox) - Took an unknown piece of the Star Wars history and explored it. Excellent plot twists and fun characters. The ability to play as light or dark and choose your path is excellent.

4. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (SNES) - Mario was already fun but the great minds behind Final Fantasy applied it to Mario and created a fantastic and fun adventure. The game play is excellent and the game is nice and long and challenging.

5. Resident Evil 2 (PS1) - Took the revolutionary game play from the first and beefed it up and made it better. It took everything that made the first game great and gave it an upgrade. Love the look and feel of this game.

COD4 takes tactical skill and strategy...if a noob picks up the controller and tries to play he will get owned. It's not a mindless shooter. The single player was great, not too deep, but a solid story with likable characters. The graphics were amazing, it's still pretty and holds up 2 years later. I'm old school as well and I can't deny how awesome this game is. No doubt belongs on the top 10 shooters of all time.

Anyway after defending such a great game here's my top 5...
