Hopefully something like Iron man helmet from the film

So 12" figures include Gandalf, Indy, Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander, Rocky III IS, and the 11" Medi Clone.

All order all but the two imported figures.

I agree with your choices. The only maybe is Rocky.

And here I was thinking we'd get lots of new stuff! Instead, everything that's been announced over the past month is now a "Toy Fair release", with NO boxes for comiquettes, but with more LSBs and 12" figures.

Will we be seeing a Conan The Barbarian Premium Format figure unveiled at Toy Fair? It's been over 6 months since the license was announced!

Well, it's been over 25 years since the release of the original film, and by Crom, we're excited and tired of waiting too! Our Design and Development Team is working hard to chisel out a quality barbarian sculpture, but it will be a bit longer before we all get our first peek at Conan in Premium Format.

A 12" Conan would be even better than crushing my enemies, seeing them driven before me or hearing the lamentations of their women. He actually wore enough clothing in the first movie that they could get away with not needing an HT style rubber muscle body. Will it happen though... I ain't holding my breath.

You know, I'm actually glad that most of the boxes are already filled! In past years, the two biggest pre-order windows for me have been Toy Fair and SDCC, so knowing that most of the products have been revealed already is a bit of a relief...

all i know is that ill get the 2 joes, gandalf, rocky, and indy if that's what is gonna be unveiled. its gonna be quite a haul but worth it IMO. the quality of 12in figures keeps going up and up.

I know I say this every year, but it goes even more so for this year, as we are not actually attending the event physically, so most of that glut of product revealed over the past few weeks would have been held back for Toy Fair, IF we were actually attending.

And on to what I say every year... Sideshow really prides itself on having exciting announcements EVERY week during the year, not just during Toy Fair. Rather than 'blowing our load' (ewwwww, I can't believe I just said that - must come from hanging out on a collectibles board ) all at once, we try to keep it up throughout the entire year. BUT there are some EXTRA exciting ones that debut at each Toy Fair/Comic-Con/Spooktacular/etc. Obviously, they will not appeal to EVERY collector, but we try to offer a broad base.

Plus, we REALLY wanted to show some stuff next week that we just can't yet, for various reasons, so we had to hold some good stuff back... thus, watch for those in the months between Toy Fair and Comic-Con - we have to keep everyone occupied in the 'off season', ya know... like athletes, you gotta practice up for the big games

That's the problem!!! I used to be able to order nearly everything... now so much amazing product comes out I have to make choices... which is hard, dang it! I guess I could have worse problems!

Just went back and read the press release... you are right, it only says PF figures.

You're right, we've had an enormous amount of excellent stuff revealed in early January and February, much more than usual. And my collecting budget for '08 is already looking pretty much spoken for!

I mean, you're making me buy a 12" figure to actually play with (Indy). THAT's an accomplishment. But still -- what's the hold-up with Adam Hughes?

Answer me this, and I'll be happy once again.

Well, here's hoping once again for that Firefly announcement
and with any luck the PF will be either Padme or Willow/Faith.

Can't say I'd be too excited about anything else, but then I'm really hanging out for the Fell Beast vs Eagle dio, so I guess in many ways that would have been a Toy Fair announcement in the past anyway.

It appears that there'll be more then enough excitement for the event, how could anyone be unhappy to have new pre-orders for 12" Indiana Jones, Gandalf and the possibility of pre-orders for Gi Joe; plus the possibility of the unveiling of Sideshow's new 12" male body? Not me for certain.
Sure you could collect other lines, but I can't tell you how many times I was disappointed in an SSC event because not much 12" was unveiled. I'm sure Sideshow will announce other stuff following Toy Fair, especially during SDCC.

I hope we get a Pirates of the Caribbean license announcement.

I remember Toy*Fair a few years ago, when 13 Sideshow Weta items were announced....

Anyone who is dissapointed apparently doesn't know SS or collecting very well!! Thank Dusty for clearing that up for some!

I said this in another thread..Toy fair isn't as big as SDCC... but this is still a huge haul for most of us!

I'm in for the Joes, Indy, Ganadalf for sure. And will have to see what the Dino looks like before I start another line (knowing that GIJoe is going to be dangerous)


I'm disapointed in the Conan PF delay but... I'd rather have a perfect sculpt then some have ass job. Conan Deserves better by Crom!!!!
