I've been trying to call CM all day and it just keeps going right to voice mail. I think they've turned off their phones after getting flooded with calls and emails

Hey guys. George emailed me back and said they are trying to solve the issue. Here's what he had to say:

Thank you for your concerns. I assure you that you will not receive a Batmobile from me in this condition. We have only started to ship a handful of units to our International customers. The US stock is not expected to arrive until late June. I will take this time to reevaluate the packing procedures. We may actually try a silicon base tape to cover all of the exposed areas of the car. Tissue was already attempted, but only added more scratches to the black piano finish. The factory was trying to prevent having anything cover the car to reduce the possibility of scratches, but I guess some issues occurred due to transit. This will have to be reevaluated and I will implement another process for packing. I'll update you on the new procedure and/or will post images up on Chocolatebydeath.

Now, that is terrific service. I've never met George and talked to him on the phone, but this really, really makes him a stand up guy in my book. Good stuff guys.

Finally got through....my part is done.

Another strange thing though. I logged into my CM account and my order for the batmobile has disappeared. I asked them about this and they said they would look into this.

Anyone else have this happen?

As requested, here are some pics of my studio scale Batmobile. This was a acquired a couple of years back from a collector here in the UK that got it from the studio moulds and used to display it at model cars shows. It's made of very sturdy fibreglass and is a thing of beauty

Fantastic PJW! Cheers mate! That's what we're waiting to get from CM with a few mods here and there but that is it. I actually had this same studio scale Batmobile as a kit (pulled from said original molds) but I sold it as I just didn't have the time nor skill to make it worthwhile. I've pretty much got out of the kit building hobby and just collect figures, statues and replicas now.

The CM version is exactly the same as that one, the only difference are the wheels and the lighting

yup same car , just the added lights , tires and piano gloss black, but you have a very nice collectable there bud

It sure is. I love it so much, I'm selling it lol.

Wish I didn't have to, but it'll be worth it in the long run. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up another in a few years.

I've got the chance to buy something screenused from Batman and Batman Returns. ie. expensive! I can't reveal what right now, but rest assured if I get them, I'll be posting pics.

Any of the replicas, production used or screen used are fine. I only want BATMAN stuff though and including all of his bat gadgets and vehicles, I don't care about the villains or any of the supporting characters. I'm just a strictly Batman guy. I like anything from BATMAN, BATMAN RETURNS, BATMAN FOREVER, BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.

But one thing that I super want right now is the BATMAN FOREVER Batmobile.

Theres one thing I d be very interested in and thats the blueprints the accountant bought in of the Tumbler when he announced his intention to blackmail Bruce.Love to frrame them and have them on the wall and above my Hot Toys version when I finally get the room to display it.

Well, maybe the majority of the people only bought the batwing at this point and everyone is waiting on the Batmobile.
