I think it'll be a fun and entertaining movie but I'm sure the fanboys will nitpick it too death and I'm sure we'll see a lot of explosions because Michael Bay is directing it!

In fact,I hear that Megatron transforms into an explosion in the movie and then back to a robot!

It's kind of surprising though. Apparently it's the most difficult project that Industrial Light & Magic has had so far. Somehow I think Star Wars should be harder.

oh I can believe that.
All of those moving metal parts that have to appear to be, for the most part, transforming realistcally.

probably a nightmare to animate

There is no way in heck I'm gonna go and see the new movie. First the look of the charchters suck big time. With all the CGI technology they couldnt make the TF look as they did in the cartoon series or the TF:The Movie? No they went and changed the whole look of charachters like Megatron and Optimus Prime. I'm a big fan of the original TF but the new look makes them look like Voltron or the Gundham figures. I dont know what the story line is gonna be like but knowing Hollywood and their fashion for wrecking good movies I'm sure this one will bomb. Like I said I wont be seeing this one.

What was with that anyway? I always thought Megatron as a gun was always the dumbest thing... Its cool when he turns into a gun that a kid can hold, but how dumb? He would be a little midget megatron in reality.

Stealth bomber is way cooler.

Anyway, this movie looks kick ass visually. Lets hope that the writing is there. Well, if it follows suit to the G1 animated series writing it'll be a cheese fest galore, so atleast the film would be accurate in that sense. I can't wait for this movie to come out! A third of my collection consists of G1 Transformer figures. Some even minty sealed! Yes, a lot of those are originals. Mmmmmhmmmm.....
