YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO TELL!

What a jerk! That was meant for us and us alone. What we had was special, but now you've made it public. What kind of male tramp do you take me for? I try so hard to please you and this is how you display your effection? :monkey2

Hugo Weaving is a great choice. His voice acting is superb and I think he'll play Megatron nicely!

I agree...I know a lot of hardcore Transfans might be against that as they want Frank Welker back but I can see some of them for it.

I think Weaving is a perfect choice. Especially with the tone and voice he carries he can easily pass as a diabolical evil robot with a superiority complex and a hint of insanity.

Megatron will be voiced by Hugo Weaving

Frank Welker = Megatron

Starscream = Chris Latta RIP:monkey2

Optimus Prime = Peter Cullen

Hugo Weaving = Agent Smith

Well at least Sony got one right. :rolleyes:

The new movie Megatron is so far removed from the old cartoon version, I doubt I'll be bothered by a voice other than Welker's coming out of it, and Weaving has certainly proven he can do both a commanding and menacing voice.

I'm still shocked, and grateful, that they actually cast Peter Cullen as Prime. Anything other that his deep, John Wayne-esque voice coming out of that faceplate just ain't right.

Lookin' good. Love how believable they look with the shines and lighting. See Optimus shoulder (is he in mid-transformation?) and big brain fart, the shine on the door of the Police car Decepticon. I know his name, but I can't think of it now. I'll probably remember it after I post this. Lookin' good so far! I can, but can't wait for 7.4.7. Kind of enjoying the anticipation and build up, and sometimes that's more fun than the actual product in hand, or in this case, in viewing range.

Edit: Barricade is the Police car!

All this attacking of Michael is just redundant and boring. Yeah he's made some stinkers but he's made some decent flicks as well, like the Rock and the Island. I liked the Island nonetheless, and I am very hard to please when it comes to what movies I appreciate. He's great at directing action sequences, which I am hoping this movie has an abundant resourse of that.

I don't expect much in the way of plot or acting, but it should be a blast to watch on the big screen.

Prime looks rad. :rock
