The writing, acting, and directing made the show intense and psychologically gripping. But all the speculation is what made the show fun. It made me go back during the week wait for the next episode and pick up on details that I may have otherwised missed.

I mean look, Shindler's List is a fantastic movie. But it's not a fun movie.

The second part was not him speaking. Rust was imagining and hearing those things himself in his head. He even hears him say "Look what they did to me, the same thing I'll do to all men and women" It's why Rust hears Errol everywhere but can't hear Marty. It's why he trips out visually he has sysenthia.

A friend is busting my balls about this, i Ould love to shut him up with a link to the source of this.

Late to the party. I watched the series over two nights. I thought the whole thing was sublime, and the finale was gripping and, in the end, beautiful. Rust and Marty's last few lines of dialogue were some of the most well-earned character development I've ever seen on film.

The horror fan in me hopes that the cosmic horror refs in season one will be the connective tissue of the series but regardless, if even the same effort is put into the seasons to come, I'm on board.

Well, my hairs long right now but no, I don't usually style it that way or have a ponytail and don't usually grow a beard when I have long hair either.



I clean up somewhat well, I'm not actually walking around like Rust hating life and solving murders.
