Twilight Witch King LS Bust!!

Looking at the posted screen caps from the movie, the height of the crown seems to be just right.

I wonder if some of the issues people are having come from the color of the bust. If you look at the QTVR 360, the color is more grey just like the Weta pieces.

Actually when I saw the pic of the costume, I went back and searched the Sideshow archives and watched the video again!

Allow me to chime in on this. These are some screencaps from the FOTR EE dvd, IMO it clearly shows that the SS bust is quite inacurate.

Nice comparison pics. The face doesn't look skeletal enough, especially around the nose. And the forehead looks too small compared to the rest of the features. Even the crown appears to have some discrepancies. And the hair sculpt is atrocious.

WETA aside, this is a very poor representation of the WK, IMO, and the worst in the LS bust line. Kudos to those that can see the beauty in it, but this a huge pass for me.

I honestly and whole heartedly in my truth of truths believe Sideshow is trying to waste money paying sculptors and manufacturers to produce inferior product to kill interest in the line rather than just stopping production of the line which would cost nothing.....

By looking at the side by side comparisons, (thanks for those pics by the way), the first thing I notice is....besides not being able to get the thought of Nick Nolte trick or treating as the WiKi himself out of my head arghhhh!!! is the crown swoops upwards instead of downwards. I see what they've tried to achieve, problem is it just does work. I wish they would scrap it or throw it in the "shame closet" and give use something else like a whole new sculpt.

I think the WK LS is a pretty cool but the biggest thing that is striking me as different is the color. The SS is blue where as the pics shown of actor shots and the weta stuff is more purple.

I agree, I think it looks better in the 360 QTVR. It looks more monotone similar to the Weta pieces.

While I would certainly agree this representation is not 100 % accurate [how many statues and busts are?] but it is certainly very good. The cheeks, chin, nose, mouth, and eyes are all very similar. Too bad we don't have a picture of the Weta bust to compare to these two.
