Took my wife to see this today, she loved it and was talking about them needing to make more movies. I clenched my jaw and nodded agreement.
My take on it... utter crap. I am so glad it brings my wife joy, but what an agonizing 2 hours. I honestly thought from the commercials this may be a cooler Twilight movie, BUT.... (MAJOR SPOILERS DON'T READ IF YOU WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE)
...and with that, I rest on your face
My take on it... utter crap. I am so glad it brings my wife joy, but what an agonizing 2 hours. I honestly thought from the commercials this may be a cooler Twilight movie, BUT.... (MAJOR SPOILERS DON'T READ IF YOU WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE)
The only part that I thought was pretty cool was the dad vampire being decapitated and the Wolves ****ing up some vampires, then it ends up BEING A DAY DREAM??? Weak ass ****, so the whole movie ends up being a 2 hour ZzzzzZZZZzzzzZZZ about multi cultural vampires.
...and with that, I rest on your face

You know there are times you just have to watch a movie with the other person in your life. EVEN IF YOU HATE THOSE KIND OF MOVIES (I am not into Horror she is, I am into War, she is not). I stayed for the 10pm showing last night. She came with me. It was not all that bad, really it was not. Alice really rock the house, forget what was her name again?

actually It is not over, they are panning either a reboot or a TV series, well, technically yes This twilight is over but the franchise will live on...
Even American Horror Story season 1 had a better supernatural love story than Twilight. I was surprised because even a few episodes on a TV show about ghosts did a better job than 5 Twilight movies.

I thought Gravity Falls was...LOL
Since Lionsgate acquired Summit they don't want the franchise to die now so there were rumors of either a TV show based on Twilight, a spin off, a reboot of the same movies or making new movies with some of the characters from Twilight.
They want to do something to keep the cash coming but they haven't said what yet.

The thing I hate about Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey is that IMO, they make women looks stupid, like we fangirl all over the place for no reason at all, and any old stupid thing will do to get our motors running. Please note that I am female myself.
That's probably a pretty harsh assessment, I guess there is no accounting for taste. I don't get it; but then again we have K-pop, J-pop, One Direction and other mysteries of the entertainment world, each with their own set of slavering female fans. I need to shrug and go about my business, content never to solve this modern mystery of fandom.
