Wait you did yours online? Did you actually go into an H&R Block office? I did.....maybe that's why?

A few people here at work have gotten theirs. $600 a piece is the common amount. :rock
So my wife and I should net $1200... I hope she buys me something nice.:D

Just got mine in DD today and my last two are 29. And I got $706, so I guess some people get more and maybe some got less than $600.

And this is not my tax return, as I already got both my State and Federal in Feb. And I did mine through an B&M agency and still got it DD, so.......

Ok,If I filed my tax return as a direct deposit instant refund at some rinky dink tax place, how would I receive my dough,by check or direct deposit?

I did the same thing and just got mine today as a DD. But other people did the same and are getting checks. I don't really know how the IRS worked thiss all out.

I'm really glad mine came as DD though, as my closest bank is like 200 miles away.

The gov't is funding these 'rebates' by jacking up gas prices. That's my theory anyway.

The government has absolutely no control over what is happening to gas. It's about supply and demand. China and India are what is making gas go up. Did you know that China is building a road infrastructure like the US. Guess what roads are made of? The same goes for India. What about all of the plastics that are being used? As more and more countries develop, the price of petroleum will continue to rise. Get use to paying more for gas because it is only going to get higher. It doesn't matter who is elected into office or who runs Congress.

I must say that not having any credit card debt is just about the best thing ever.

You are telling me, IJ. I have been drowning in so much CC debt for so long that I was beginning to think it would never end. Just came out from under it about a month ago. My car (and not much on that) and the wife's school loan to go and I am 100% debt-free. The rebate will be used for what it is intended...to waste in an attempt to stimulate the economy.

Where is the schedule?

Nothing here either... although we owed taxes this year (taken directly out of our accounts), but I don't know if the rebate will be direct deposited or mailed. We're in the 2nd to last group numerically either way :monkey2
