Oh man.. please let Rampage win now. I wanna see that rematch! :lol

Page/Rashad gets the next title shot daikkenaurora. Unless something's changed!?

Thats what I thought, I just wanted to make sure.

Machida's eye is ____ed.

Hell yeah it is. He'll put some pee on it and it will be all better.

Machida will be back.

Machida was underfeated before tonight right?

Also I'd like to know, who has beat Rua in the past ?

Rua was the shiznit in Pride. :lecture Conditioning was always his weak spot (like Penn) that seems to be behind him.

:clap

I want to see Rampage and Rua go at it again. :yess:

Shia - Yes

Lyoto once (obviously) Forrest Griffin, Mark Coleman and Renato Sobral. Only 1 loss in the UFC (Griffin)

yeah he was 16-0.

Rua has lost to Machida, Forrest Griffin, Mark Coleman and Renato Sobral.....only Griffin and Machida in the UFC though. And the loss to Mark Coleman he lost because of a broken arm I think.

Yeah.. he was 16 - 0. As far as Rua.. he beat Overeem x2 by TKO/KO (before he became the HW Hulk :lol) he beat Rampage by TKO, lil nog by decision, Arona by KO, and Kevin Randleman by Sub. Plus he won the 2005 PRIDE MW (LHW here in the states) Grand Prix.

The big problem is the UFC LHW division has the greatest amount of talent so it's damn near impossible to rule the division anymore. Not like Tito and Chuck back in the days (when the comp wasn't as good). Rampage beats Liddell.. unifies the UFC and PRIDE titles with Hendo and then loses to Griffen. Griffen immediately loses to Rashad. Rashad immediately loses to Machida. Machida wins the first fight vs. Shogun but loses the rematch. The UFC LHW division is in constant flux. I honestly don't see Shogun dominating either. Just so many great fighters.. it's by far the deepest and hardest division to fight in (in the UFC).

I think Ramp is a better fighter now, and I know he would love to avenge that loss as most fighters do.

I agree. But then again Shogun is looking really good now too....either way I want that fight!

Can't believe it's been 5 years since they fought.

Deep thoughts: Will MMA ever be unified like boxing...what I mean is Dana controls everything with the UFC which is strange that one person has total control whereas boxing it's up to each fighter in a way.(though depending on the belt they hold they are "forced" to fight the #1 contender). Just food for thought.

Boxing isn't unified. They just have co-promotion. Which even then, doesn't work and prevents fights regardless. And Boxing has MULTIPLE managers/promoters ruining it because they're all leeches. Trust me, if MMA ever adopts the same model as Boxing it'll die a slow death.
