He has both those things and is far less ^^^^ing stupid than she is. Then again for you thats just a lame answer. So talking is pretty pointless.

These threads are even wearing me out. I'll just say, whoever loses I hope grows a set of testicles and accepts defeat and tries to understand what was wrong with their party that made them lose and try to fix it rather than think the other 52% or whatever were just a bunch of morons.

I'm out.....until next week anyway.

I think it's funny that everyone likes to call all these politicians on both sides idiots, yet in reality if any of us were to sit across the table from any of them one on one they'd tear us apart. So if they're idiots, what's that make us?

I know I'm certainly not qualified to run this country. :lol

Josh, you're seriously not a member of the NEA? I find that pretty surprising, actually. And, no I'm not be facetious I'm just genuinely surprised.

You want an honest answer to that question? :lol

Everyone is saying Biden should not say much, and not try to call out Sarah. While I agree he should not be overly condescending, he MUST be able to DEBATE her. I don't like people are trying to say she is ready to be VP but then say don't be too mean or people will say "bully!" In any case, I hope to hear a lot of "I respect your opinion, Governor Palin, but you are simply WRONG."

I don't understand the overuse of her gaffes, everyone in the race so far has made several (ex: FDR on TV during the Great Depression). I am not a hardline Right-Winger, I am a libertarian. Can an Obama supporter honestly answer this question for me:

If Sarah Palin's inexperience on the bottom of the ticket concerns you, why are you supporting Obama, who has no experience, at the top of the ticket?

Let me start by saying a gaffe is a misstatement, something said that is ridiculous and not thought through, like Obama saying there were 57 states. I have not met one person who keeps reusing this 57 states line that ACTUALLY BELIEVES Obama thinks there are 57 states. He made a mistake, this was a gaffe. He knows there are 50 states. Now, I do not know of one instance when Palin made a clear "gaffe." She has gotten negative coverage for what she doesn't know. A non-answer is NOT a gaffe:

Didn't know what the Bush Doctrine was
Didn't know any examples of McCain pushing for more regulation
Didn't know any other court cases she disagreed with
Didn't know what periodicals she read

And to top it off, while most people don't believe Obama thinks there are 57 states, I think a lot of people DO belive she thinks Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience.

So to answer your last question, it is less about experience for me and more about trust. I would not compare Obama to Palin (P vs VP, both lack experience). I trust Obama more than McCain to fix out problems, and I trust Biden more than Palin to take over should he have to. I hope this helps and answered the question :)

Thats me in a nutshell. Bush was the governor of a state and has botched the last 8 years so its about the person I think.

I'll sign on to this line of thought too! :joy
