Agreed. Just think of the shoving that was at SDCC for some stupid warner brothers bag or some silly poster, just cause it was free and "limited." It's that pack mentality, and we are all animals after all.

I'm not excusing the act by any means, and some of us are stupider than the rest, but I've seen this sort of primal behavior occur in various scenarios. Soccer games, Japanese/Asian politics, SDCC, Cabbage Patch Kids/Tickle Me Elmo/Furbies craze, concerts, etc.

Edit: I just witnessed my dogs behaving the same way at the dog park. Just takes one aggressive dog to get the pack riled up and pick on slower/weaker dog and rest of the pack will follow (until someone breaks it up).

I was just thinking to myself that it seems that there is more outrage over this incident than there is over Raiders fans stabbing and shooting opponents' fans to death over a football game, and other such mob mayhem over trivial subjects.

saw this on the news here in the UK and I had to rewind it and show it to Jane. All we could do was shake our heads at the telly. People are ^^^uing disgusting. And I hope every single one of them feels eternal shame and guilt over the person that they killed.

Really does remind me a lot of SDCC, I was so disgusted with humanity after witnessing that. People were acting like animals, and it reminded me why I stay so isolated all the time. I just wish people would use their brains and overcome their primitive nature.

I used to go to them all the time with no incident. In the bigger cities there's no way I'd go. Too many nutcases.

What's sad sometimes is how people act trying to get certain toys for Christmas. They act worse than the kids they're buying them for. It's like they absolutely HAVE to get that toy Johnny wants or the world's going to end. Silly.

The crowd broke down the doors and rushed into the store, and one of the workers was killed by the mob. Others, including a pregnant woman, were sent to the hospital.

Do you see what I mean?

Hundreds of "people" trampled over this worker and a pregnant women.It didn't involve a stampede of inmates or "crazies" from the asylum,but it might as well have.When it comes right down to it,this is the true nature of "people".

We are the mob and our government is a Mobocracy..

I could only imagine what people would do under a real crisis.
