I'd like to see SSC attempt something like this. I know cost would rise but I still prefer something like this over "hollow" items (Rhino was a big disappointment). RWOS is still a great piece though, no complaints.

Thanks for uploading the videos Josh, i know they arent yours but its nice to see the Weta team interviews. Oh and the Hobbit shirt your wearing looks awesome ive just ordered that

No problem. The girls do a fantastic job with their series. I thought that was a great job as well by the girls interviewing them. Thanks! It's pretty cool. Very comfortable I think.

Holy crap, small world ... I went to high school with both Lindsey and her sister Elizabeth (she was in my grade); good for them!!!!

:hi5: :yess: :hi5: :yess:

That much for 1/6 scale?

"More than 2 ft long (650mm) and 17 inches tall (450mm), the Warg alone is bigger than some dogs and our prototype weighs in at 30 lbs (13.5kg). It's likely to be about 35lbs (16 kg) when cast in polystone - about the same as the average 4 year-old child."

If only SS had the same standards. But no - 2 well known droids are made of plastic and the Hulk maq is hollow.

I was rolling my eyes at the prices of the Honey Trap statues and now here I am on day one having my credit card preauthorized for even more. :lol

Azog and the tauntauns unfortunately took the ED-209 off the table though. :(

Ive put my order in for Azog :) Josh, when do you think this will sell out by?

There's something about middle earth statues when done well that just blows everything else away.
Statue of the yeeeaaar.... next yeeeaar...

Its very possible it could be for statue of the year next year. Its at the top of my list as of now.

I'd be very surprised if Smaug doesn't get his debut at SDCC next year. That i think will blow everything else out of the water.

I would expect he will be out by then at the latest. He probably wouldn't ship until 2015 if he does. So he'd get votes for statue of the year then. :rock

I was surprised to see Smaug before the Great Goblin, because I imagine the Great Goblin also will, right?

Yes, probably. All we can do is wait patiently and see what Weta comes up with. Azog looks very promising so I have high hopes for Smaug. I'd like Beorn too, if I could just have those 3 I'd be happy.

Still want to see some large environments too and a new helm once and a while wouldn't hurt.

The 4 pieces that would be massive like AZOG would be Goblin King,Beorn,Smaug and maybe if they do it a Dain riding/charging on his Wild Boar...All would be killer
