And I say good job on the magnets, remaking them in plastic to cut the cost in half.

I noticed just now that Bombur is attached to its base on only one point. Interesting, but I hope there won't be problems of the foot breaking in the long run.

My guess is it will be him and I have $56 in Weta dollars ready to go.

When I saw this statue at comic-con I couldn't figure the pose out, but after seeing it I have to think its from Goblin Town.

That's great Josh! Those Weta dollars surely are a big help! I've got some left as well, might use them up for this too.

As far as the foot goes, no issue on that as my uruk-hai scoutsman statue is very similarly attached and no issues for well over 6 years!!

Indeed they do. What's great is even after using them you can still earn some.

The ladle I think I remember him swinging at one point. That's just the moment I will imagine this comes from.

Can't say I am a massive fan of this one unfortunately.

I didn't find the character very appealing in the movie to be honest.

I think L/E of 1000...if uber it will be at least 500 IMHO

I also think that the rest of the dwarves will be L/E too....They made now 6 of the main 15 guys...I bet they show the another 4 dwarves in SDCC 2013 with Gollum, Radagast and another 4 dwarves in SD2014 with the white Council, Bard, etc...IMHO this will be one of those collections stretched out for a few years not like it was with SSW back then when we had alot come out quickly...I could see three to five years from now still coming out with new Hobbit statues...fine by me and fine by my bank/CC

Yeah i agree i can also see the rest of the dwarves being limited editions - Balin and Dwalin are basically Thorins right hand men, and the most important dwarves after him, which is why they were also in the flash-backs with him, so maybe that's why Weta left them open edition, as well as to gauge interest in dwarf statues?

And yeah i can also see The Hobbit line lasting beyond the movies, like their LOTR line is now too. So - release the dwarves now while the interest is mainly there, then trickle out some more as the months and years go on! But i do think we'll see quite a few this year - the same as at SDCC last year? Some more dwarves, Radagast, and some baddies - trolls and goblins maybe?

I don't think this Bombur statue is from any particular moment - it's just a representation of the character. I'm curious as to why you need to link him to a certain scene Josh?

I have about 130 Weta dollars thanks to Barad-Dur, GTG and Bilbo, so i'm ready to go.

Wonder what the 'early bird' item is. Maybe a pin or a free fridge magnet
