Wow, I was okay with the factory paint until seeing that. Anyone want to question the likeness of the sculpt now?

Now THAT looks more like Routh. I would like to see the DC Direct head get the same paint treatment.

FANTASTIC!!!!! I am floored... Great blending on the hairline too, just masterful work. The eyes and lips look much better as well...

but if anyone has been holding off on Superman DVD purchases, Wal Mart has the 1st season of the George Reeves series for $14.44 and the first and second Superman movies for just $5.88 and $5.50! So for just under $26 you get quite a haul of Superman DVDs!

Got my HT Supes today!!!! This figure is amazing!!! I was expecting a really great figure and this surpassed my expectations! Obviously more accessories would've been cool for this price point but that is really my only complaint. Now I really can't wait for my HT Bats!!

Yeah, ONLY for the HT figs.

Btw, The HT BB is taking off, saw one sell for 170, I keep forgetting only 800 were made, fairly scare for Batman Begins.

I thought the edition size was 1100 for Batman and 1200 for Superman. Those are still low numbers. It's not listed on the HT site, but it is in the ad for them.

Yea, people comment on these figures retail for a bit over a hundred, but don't look at how limited they are. 800 and 1200 world wide isnt very many.

I know Supes went to 1200 but I guess we'll have to wait to see what the BB COA reads. They have already been released in Asia and I would think if the ES was 1100 we'd see a bunch more listed but that is not the case yet.

Yeah, one listing said 1200 so I guess DC matched their SR Edition allowance for HT. Still very limited for BB.

I was beginning to think I would just resell him, as my interest in SR has waned some since seeing Pirates, BUT, then I get this figure....
OK. He's a keeper!

Now, again like the others, on to BB!
Hope he is as nice as this one.

BTW, I WILL be repainting this Routh face. Soon enough anyway. Neck color doesn't match the head either. Bad trimming between the head and neck areas too. Needs a head touchup here and there, seems a tad rushed, but the costume is immaculate!
Looks unfathomably cool on the shelf next to my 12" Chris Reeve!

Supes is at 1,200 pcs whereas batman is at 1,100 pcs. Is it because Supes just had a movie released so the HT Supes selling like hot cakes (more of sold out) whereas HT Batman is a little quiet.
I've got the HT Supes and comparatively, the quality especially his costume is top notch. Reccomended for all Supes fan.

Hey, your Reeve looks just like mine! Of course I have the custom box and the Artist signed stand base reading #2!

Hope to have a pic of all three of my Supes when Brandon arrives.

btw, what are your thoughts on this Asian repaint Batty found?
