The piece is now backorder on SS site. What do you know...right after it starts shipping. Does this mean the run is over soon? Or does this mean production has come to a hault because of QC issues once more. Curious what the real deal is...

I assume it's very similar to the Endoskeleton Bust, which is another open edition - https://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=83331 - the way I understand how that one works is that new POs are placed with the factory in batches, as people order, so that the warehouse isn't over-run with stock
