Godfather 1 and 2 are 10's for me. And Shawshank Redemption. I can give Empire Strikes Back a 10 as well. It really doesn't have a weakpoint either.

A 10 out 10 movie is a movie that gives me the most perfect experience.

Little things aren't judged when the overall piece works on the levels it should.

Avengers is one. Jaws is one. Shawshank is one. Shindler's List is one. Alien and Aliens are...two...?

When a movie can hold up, after watching it more then once, it elevates the experience. I'm not a nit picker. Nit picking sucks. It's the single worst thing someone can do to almost every movie.

Unless it's already terrible, and the reason it's terrible is the fundamentals of filmmaking are horribly flawed.

So for me, when I watch a movie I love, I don't look for reasons to hate it. I did it when I saw The Dark Knight after 20 times, and trust me, it's not fun.

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

Avengers? I don't see how any movie that rips off the ending of The Phantom Menace can get a 10.

They did it better.

You can laugh and say whatever you want. If someone asked, what's a perfect movie for me (Not film. Popcorn, face shoving, sittin in a cool theater on a hot day, having fun movie), I'd say Jaws, and The Avengers.

The Avengers has everything I could ever ask for in a movie. Joss Whedon is a mystical bastard. :lol

Exactly. :lol....****ing love The Avengers.

I thought Uma Thurman was great. And Sean Connery played the perfect villain.

Ahhhh the "It's a good popcorn movie" response.

I'm convinced when someone says that, it's code for mediocre at best. :lecture

Jaws is pretty damn close to a 10. Not much can rival Indianapolis scene, acting, music, suspense. It is almost a perfect movie.

Avengers not very close to a 10. It's a 8. It was great seeing the Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Loki and Black Widows ass. The story was meh.
