Plus this particular character is not 6ft.. isn't Wolverine a bit stumpy in the comics ... He's probably 5'7" which would make the figure shorter, not to mention he at bended knee... also didn't I read the the LSF are not all really 1:2 scale???

Wow! Seeing the scale next to an actual human I'm loving this LSF Wolverine, but at the same time I can't see paying $2000 for this piece. Can only hope that it's under that price range.
Apprently Scott said it was 1200-1500 range. Maul too. Wonder if that's true?
where did you hear that? That would be nice.
One of the members heard it from Scott at the con.
I´ve just seen this new video with Scott from Sideshow wich tell (sounds to me) the camera (in the end) that the LSF will cost proberly right below 1000 $

Hey divo, thanks for your kind words bro.
Well, as I see it, this will be the only 1/2 scale of Wolverine ever released unless he has an ES of less than 500. For something to be remade in the same size with a different costume/format it has to sell out. If so, the next Wolverine 1:2 will probably take at least 2 years to come out (if ever) and this piece will not sell out fast since he's pretty damn expensive.
Since the 1:2 releases will be much more spaced out than PFs, you'll have other characters coming out first before they release a new Wolverine. However, if anything Sideshow will probably use the same sculpt to make a brown version so it's possible that will come out down the line in a few years.
Now if a Brown Wolvie is made, he will most likely have the same thick cloth on his body. Sideshow is pretty stubborn in that respect.
So to summarise,
1. Probably be the only Wolvie in 1:2 scale
2. Another 1:2 Brown Wolvie will be the same sculpt in pajamas
3. At few years for another 1:2 Wolvie
4. Enjoy this before a new one comes out
I'm not really worried about diminishing value, I don't see myself selling anything ever, I'm far from hurting for money and I like crafting the perfect display to my liking. To me a non-factory hand painted item's value is much higher than the original since it becomes a unique work of art and not just a mass produced piece. I have enough savings right now to last my whole life, cos I'm really not a crazy spender and I still work. If anything, I'll probably pass stuff down to my son. I guess I'm just lucky I don't have to think about that kind of stuff.
I probably will display him like this for a while first before I get around to stripping him anyways.
So I'm really just doing it on calculated probability.
You thinking of picking Wolvie or any of the LSFs up divo?
You take care too bro

Hi Fuzzy. Your explanation is logical & sound, as usual. Always a pleasure to read your thoughtful, & insightful posts.
To answer your question in regards to collecting LSF line, I will not take the plunge presently, but who knows in the future? Though Wolvie is some beautiful work (along with the other LSF releases), again, I still have a feeling that a totally sculpted version will be released Fairly soon?), so I'll be waiting on that. May not be 1/2 or 1/4 scale, but I can live with a beautiful sculpt in 1/5.
Cheers, & all the power to you!
