Someone made a HUGE mistake

The new Premium Format Wolverine statue is a thing of beauty, and as a huge fan of Wolverine, I’d love to have one (doubtful, as it’s way out of my price range) but, I’m puzzled as to why you chose to put him in his blue and yellow Jim Lee era costume and not the more popular brown and tan John Byrne era costume? Especially since Sideshow already did a 1/4 scale version of the blue and yellow Wolverine as a Comiquette? Also is there any chance of Sideshow releasing an alternative costume version of this statue in the future?


Yes, we are exploring the brown costume version of Wolverine, perhaps as an alternate version of this very PF. It’s hard to say which is most iconic - Wolverine is not lacking for good costume options.

Probably will wait for the brown version, like that better.

I think it's wishful thinking on a lot of high hopes, I'll stick my foot in my mouth when it happens.

I think honestly IMO this is it for Wolverine PF.

I'm sure they will release a brown if not in PF form in Comiquette form. He's too iconic not to cash in on.

PF equivalent and there's all ready a Com, it will be another 5 years, the Com came out around 2005.

Would of all ready happened like Elektra

What is the usual time period between variants like these? I know none of the variants have been released after the original pf or comi has started shipping right? So if a Brown variant was made, it would have to be announced in march?

Well they have already announced it just not officially. We can assume around 3to 6 months.
