Where was this unofficially announced? I missed it.

Thanks fuzzy. So, they are "exploring" that option? Sounds promising.
Well they have already announced it just not officially. We can assume around 3to 6 months.
pitu said that there will be a brown one. I believe him but I still want this one.
I already have the yellow comiquette EX, so I have been going back-and-forth on keeping my Yellow PF EX order or not (I was thinking about getting the PF JUST to go with Sabertooth). Reading this news, I will either pass my Wolverine EX PF to another member or cancel it.
Having a yellow comiquette and brown PF would be the perfect setup. Seriously, with Gambit ordered and the news that Cyclops, Colossus, and Rogue are on the way...I am a very happy camper. Now I just wish Sideshow would get off their behinds and make a decent Jean Grey (which they have NOT done yet).

Personally, I much prefer the brown/yellowish version, because it's the version I grew up with reading the comics. So, this would be a welcome addition. Unlike some other variants, these are both essential, iconic incarnations of who may well be Marvel's most popular character. Are you guys okay with a variant in brown costume? Wouldn't you guys prefer a new sculpture in brown? Goodness knows, we've sure heard lots of peeps complain when BD released multiiple near identical pieces.

Also, I notice that on the Q&A that the guy asking the question refers to this as "Byrne era" Wolverine. Yeah, Byrne first drew him with that outfit, but only did a few issues before going off to do Fantastic Four. I associate the blue/yellow more strongly with Byrne, personally.
