not really, all they have to do is remove the shoulder caps/pads ala 80's, and sow on the brown where the yellow is.
i predict we'll be seeing a brown version later.....

though if this one looks as good in hand as it does in the pics, i don't think i'll worry about it.
unless it's a super low ES of 100 or less, then i'll be all over it.

Comiquette pose just destroys this piece. I'm sure it will look okay with the 'Tooth PF though. I hope the 'Tooth looks good as a standalone piece.

The reason you see the stitching and piping on this piece is because, by it's very nature, you can't 'shade' cloth the way you can 'paint-on' details on resin. They need that stitching and piping to break up the vast expanses of yellow and blue. That's the only reason I can see for extending the seams onto the shorts from the shirt.

I will say I REALLY like the way they designed the shape of the claws...like Samurai swords.

I hope this is the last time Sideshow attempts a 'PF diorama'. While I love having my Hulk and Thing facing-off, I hate losing some of the glory of the PFs by not having them facing straight ahead. I know I can turn them face-out anytime, but in the early design phase, there are probably some comprises that are going to be made so that the piece can be an either/or piece, rather than just a 'museum' or 'action' pose. Leave the dioramas to the 'Diorama' line.

I am a fan on the yellow myself. I used to not like the brown at all, but it has been growing on me the last year or so.

I wouldn't put it past SSC to milk Wolverine for everything it is worth.

The boots and mask are different too.

I'd be willing to pay more for it though if they make the necessary changes.
