For me every good love story involves tragedy or else it has no weight and is a Disney fairytale instead of a Romeo and Juliette. That holds even more so in this case since this movie is set against a backdrop of WW1.

Every single love story has sucked. Only one for me is Peggy and Steve. Betty and Bruce in TIH was a second. Every other one is absolutely terrible, even Lois and Clark. Could have been smoother imo.

Now that the DCEU is in full swing, we have a ton of superhero adventures to look forward to. Ben Affleck’s Batman became an instant favorite in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but the film also had a surprising breakout hit in the form of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. A beautiful and fierce warrior, she perfectly complemented the brooding Dark Knight, and their chemistry carried many scenes in the film. If you like their rapport with one another, you’re in luck, because it now seems that the comingWonder Woman movie will bring Diana Prince to Gotham City to meet with Bruce Wayne.

A new photo has leaked from the set of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman movie (viaBatman News), and it’s enough to get any DC fan excited. The image in question shows Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in what appears to be Gotham City, about to enter an armored Wayne Enterprises truck. Overall it seems like an odd set photo, because it’s a well-documented fact that Wonder Woman will take place in the early 20th century in the midst of WWI.

It’s unclear exactly how this moment will tie into the narrative of Wonder Woman, but the general consensus seems to point towards Wonder Woman and Batman continuing their efforts to form the Justice League following the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. This could involve them meeting with another prospective Justice League member, or perhaps even going over schematics for The Watchtower.

One of the coolest elements of this potential scene is the way in which it ties into the continuity of the DCEU. Many fans worried that the death of Superman would be quickly undone once Justice League Part One hits theaters in 2018. Now it seems that Warner Bros. has taken a little extra time to show how the world has moved on after his death, showing how his absence has had an impact on Batman and Wonder Woman going forward.

It’s worth noting that Wonder Woman might not spend much time in Gotham City during the events of her solo movie. Warner Bros. may just want to spend a small amount of time using her movie to lay the groundwork for the future Justice League outing. This is not dissimilar to the somewhat polarizing ending of Captain America: The First Avenger, where the final minutes of the movies saw Steve Rogers thawed out in Times Square realizing that’s now a citizen of the 21st century.

We won’t know for certain how this scene plays out until Wonder Woman actually hits theaters. The Amazon’s solo adventure will debut on June 2, 2017.
