X-Men: Apocalypse - May 27, 2016

This is the most Tatum has ever looked like Gambit... but he doesn't look like this anymore, his face always looks bloated now a days

Hopefully he is on a strict work out for this film and gets his body in shape.

Screw that. I just want that Dazzler Movie where the X-Men and The Avengers and Spider-Man team up in a Post Apocalyptic New York, where Cher and Donna Summer are warring leaders.

Don't forget about Rodney Dangerfield playing the villain with Kiss and the Village people as the Queens' henchmen.

Dazzler is in the Age of Apocalypse story, so she could very well be in the film

If they do include her, atleast we don't have to worry about her ****** costume from the comics being in the movie... since none of them are comic accurate

The biggest thing I would worry about though is the casting... since they might want to get a singer and get someone like Lady Gaga or something

I actually did almost forget about that. That's one of those films that I actually really, really wish would've happened, because the entire concept is so bat**** insane. It'd be like watching a drug induced hallucination while sober.

I kinda hate how both Marvel Studios and Fox have Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch and are using them There's a lot of other characters that both companies could use, rather than them both being duplicated at the same time by both studios.

Well, I vote that, if one of them did give up using the characters, it should've been Marvel Studios. Granted, we haven't seen Johnson's Quicksilver, yet, but, after watching DoFP and Godzilla, Peters blows him out of the water in the charisma department.

That seems to be the consensus. I can't see Johnson as the playful Quicksilver more of the douchy quicksilver which while possibly good won't be as fun to watch.

I like the idea of seeing multiple takes on one character, I wish studios would share more characters, especially in a case like this, looks like the characters will be total opposites.

Me too. Probably my biggest want of a redo for a character in the franchise. Do you think she could fit into an Apocalypse story line set in the 80s?

Hmmm, I'm not too sure. Probably would be best to bring her in maybe the X-Force film or something.

Same here, in the Singer-verse, they're mutants, not "miracles" haha. Also it's a plus they can actually be Erik's children as well, I'm sure The Avengers will mention something about them having daddy issues though.

Singer also said he might use Scarlett Witch for the sequel as well!

While I don't necessarily mind it, I would prefer to have more characters on the screen than repeats/different incarnations at the same time.

The comic book lore is huge, and there are arguably better choices for two characters to be part of the Avengers team, as well as two characters to be in the X-Men.

I guess we'll see if they end up using Scarlet Witch in this film too.
