While I don't necessarily mind it, I would prefer to have more characters on the screen than repeats/different incarnations at the same time.

The comic book lore is huge, and there are arguably better choices for two characters to be part of the Avengers team, as well as two characters to be in the X-Men.

I guess we'll see if they end up using Scarlet Witch in this film too.

Just shoving characters out there because there's lots of them doesn't really do anything for me. Witch has a huge Avengers and even W Coast Avengers pedigree and with them bringing in the Vision I can't see who would actually be better to bring in at this point in time, and people seem blissfully happy with Silver in DofP, so it seems to be working fine so far.

If they end up using Wanda in this, it would be funny if they cast Saoirse Ronan. She was Marvel Studios first choice but she couldn't do it because of scheduling conflicts. :lol

But, I don't know who they could cast who would top Elizabeth Olsen for me. Even though I haven't seen her version yet, I love every one of her movie roles and she's my favorite actress at the moment.

I'm glad she was busy. :lol
Nothing personal, but the Olsen check looks right to me.

I am trying to think what significant story line does Apocalypse have besides Age of Apocalypse. Since I doubt we will see another time line driven story line shame since I would like to see a different take on the X men movies one in which the Mutants finally take over and the humans are the hunted.

The twelve? He hunts or recruits omega-level mutants

I am not familar with it is it any good. I always like to see heroes take a turn to the dark side thats why I like Xmen the last stand and recently Superior spiderman with mind of Dr octopus in the body of spiderman he was so diabolical it was great.

That why I really enjoyed age of apcolapse you have the mutants in charge and it humans being hunted. The summers brothers working with Mr sinister it was nice to see characters who you are used to behaving in a certain way being totally different.

Yep, Olsen is way better IMO.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about Elizabeth Olsen, but yowza. She's become my new actress fascination.

Weird how she somehow got the good genes and doesn't look trollish like her sisters. Shes got meat on dem bones too, not to mention more talent.

I know it would sound cliche to say it to her, but seriously... that smile and those eyes.

And yes, the other parts are pretty nice to look at. *pops in Oldboy* :lol

He'd be another cool one to see on film. A lot of good choices ahead of them, Magneto can rest from being the big bad for awhile.

Ah, that's too bad. I'm more interested in the new future versions of the characters right now than I am the First Class group. I suppose they could bookend this movie as a conversation with future Logan and Prof X bringing him up to speed what happened I the last 50 years.

Im hoping we get another movie with them. I actually like Marsden as Cyclops and would love to see him take that leadership role.

The ending of DoFP really opened up a LOT of possibilities for them. They could easily be doing First Class and original cast movies every other year if they wanted, and I think they should really. This film could have tanked horribly and just run the franchise into the ground, but it was done well and put a breath of much needed fresh air back into the franchise.

Matthew Vaughn directing the FC crew, and Singer directing the older cast would bring this franchise Marvel Studios success. Then bring in different times like X-Force.

We know Sony is trying to get a whole Spider-Man universe up and going, I don't see any reason why Fox couldn't do that with X-men now. Like you said, they need to further open this up to other split off teams. A Deadpool movie might finally see the light of day too at this rate!

I'm beating the dead mutant horse, but I'd like to see them develop some of the non US teams if they get Deadpool and X-Force off the ground. Alpha Flight, Excalibur, they could even have Psylocke with her brother since they retooled the timeline. Between the mutant teams and the F4, they got a lot to choose from.
