So the guy playing Apocalypse is the same one who plays the X-wing pilot, Poe, in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' Also notice this film, Civil War, and BvS has heroes facing each other. Seems to be the theme for 2016.

So Ronan got a new gig and look.

Looks decent, just didn't have anything special. Felt kinda generic like all superhero movies are getting. Hell, TMNT2 trailer gave me a bigger buzz than this and that's clearly gonna be a garbage movie.

Agreed- I must be superhero jaded thanks to MCU- more city destruction and some blue alien guy threatening end of the world- sorry big big MEH.
I do like the X Men chracters though, best parts of the movie are their subplots and such- main plot is stop the big bad bad guy is just ughhhh

I was worried about Apoc considering I don't care for Oscar Issac, but I can't tell that it's him behind the make up and acting so that's good. The rest of it looked good, the green screen for what looks like the New York battle looks super weird, it doesn't look natural at all, it reminds me of the opening scene in Conan when Conan and his dad are sitting on top of the mountain talking and the clouds are moving past them in the back ground, it just looks weird.

Otherwise super hyped for this, should be great.

Or Mortal Kombat Annihilation I still think this film has the potential to be better than BVS and Capt 3. Seems to me that the X Men films usually have better stories, themes, and acting than most summer films.
