I don't hate Spider-Man 3 anymore. It was disappointing in 2007 and I hated it then but after getting TASM, ASM2, most of the mediocre Marvel Studios movies and a glut of superhero crap in general, it doesn't look so bad.
The "actually it was Flint Marko" and "actually it was his glider" things were really-really stupid.
Rushed Venom plot was terribly boring and emotionless.

The main story should of been about Peter chasing the Sandman just because of the symbiote while Harry trying to deceive and manipulate Peter's friends and family. By the end Peter would realise how danderous he is and let Marko go, with an awesome church scene being the last before credits.

You know the movie was terrible when Emo Parker dance machine doesn't even get mentioned as one of the worst parts.

Mixing Sandman with Venom was my problem from the start and when I saw it , I was right :pfft:

Plus it didn't help that Dunst look like she was completely done playing MJ the whole film. I read she was sick of MJ being in perrel that she almost wasn't going to comeback for the film.

If it wasn't for Toby and Peter's performance, I would've walked out halfway through

Mmm... Emo Parker was a very Raimi thing, I love all of it. :lol

That's what sold me, never saw it in the comics around the symbiote era, but then again the symbiote never affected spidey's personality in the comics. I love that Rami put that in.

I do remember the FOX Spidey cartoon introducing this idea

DiFabio is right, will you just look at that contrast between X2 and this trailer, just wow.

TWS for me has the best gradual increase of cgi, it looks very natural and CW seems to be following in the same footsteps.

Wish he would do another one my friend or at least consult or co-direct the new Spidey franchise coming from Marvel Studios

I'd love to see Raimi's Spiderman get a proper send off.

Still my Favorite X Men Trailer :)

I slightly prefer the one Difabio posted but both trailers destroy the Apocalypse one. It still burns my soul we never got a proper sequel to X2, and we'll probably never see Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler ever again.

I think it was more to it than that, like most directors back then, he was having disagreements on budgets and such. I remember he wanted Sentinels in X2 and Fox just wasn't willing to give him the proper budget, so he had to take them out.

IKR the ending with Peter and MJ dancing with the love theme playing with no words and sad looks on their faces I was thinking WTF! But when I heard Raimi's commentary on the blu Ray I can understand he was going for a symbolic ending to the trilogy but it still pissed me off.

Just like Trank turned down Star Wars for......
