After Batman and robin its the movie people accepted.

That is so true. It became the movie that was cool to like because it took Batman seriously. That doesn't mean it was a well made film. It's very corny at times and not edited particularly well either. You can barely see anything Batman is doing when he's fighting. Goyer does the same schtick over and over of repeating a line from earlier in the film in the last half so that it has"meaning". That really annoyed me when I first saw it. If I can borrow Difabio's routine:
"Why do we fall Bruce"
Muh
"Mind your surroundings"
Muh
"It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you"
Muh
"You didn't get the memo"
Muhhhhhhhhhhh

There's other stuff too like the chatter from the police during the tumbler chase, and as mentioned before, the old guy in tower explaining the plot to the audience.

I went back and watched Iron Man 2 and I didn't hate it. I thoroughly enjoyed the court scene and the Iron Man/War Machine sequence at the end though it was too short. This might have also been a factor of watching it right before Iron man 3...so I think it might have elevated 2 in my head.

Batman Begins is better made but is still overrated. It's just not really an interesting film imo. The dialogue isn't anything to write home about. The action is incoherent. It's certainly well acted but I don't have fun watching it.

Now, The Dark Knight and the batman intro in TDKR were awesome as ****

At that stage of the MCU I was craving for more more more universe building after the promise at the end of IM1.

IM2 really didn't do much to expand the universe but it's still entertaining and Scarjo was insane hot in that. :lol

Oh no, young Singer fan. You will find that it is you who are mistaken - about a great many things.

Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design. Your XM loving friends, up there in those non premium theaters, are walking into a trap, as is your XMA thread. It was I who convinced 20th Century Fox to show preview screenings to the critics. My plan is quite safe from your pitiful little band of XM loving friends. An entire legion of my best Rotten Tomato troops await them. Oh, I'm afraid the RT % will be quite operational when your friends arrive.

That she was.

Rourke was pretty good as Wiplash. Rockwell was a hoot.

But yea, overall movie was meh.

"Sir we've been having TDK vs. Cap trilogy discussion since May 27!"

"It's a trap!"
