Rourke was pretty good as Wiplash. Rockwell was a hoot.

But yea, overall movie was meh.

Agreed. I liked Rourke and Hammer. Wish we got more of both. And compared to iron man 3, RBJ looked interested.

I liked Rockwell Hammer a lot, and thought a lot of the criticism tossed his way was unfortunate. And the fact that his humor and personality in that role went over the heads of a lot of folks who were more concerned with the broad brush strokes of what he represented in the movie. Similar problems surround criticisms of Iron Man 3 IMO.

But back to Apocalypse, is anyone aware of Easter Eggs in the movie? I'm sure there were some, possibly at the school with the powers of the kids, but I didn't catch that many. Blob being one.

Iron Man 2 sucked. BB is just overrated as a film.

I agree it's very overrated by fans...not critics though.

I could be wrong, but I'm almost sure I caught a glimpse of the younger mutant who I think is X-Man from the beginning and end of DOFP was in one of the scene at the mansion when some of the mutant kids were playing basketball.

Cinemascore has posted its grade of A-. So, that's probably a good representation of the overall viewer opinion toward this one. Civil War got a straight A, as did Deadpool. Batman V Superman got a B.

But then again i'm also entertained watching ants have intercourse.

For a movie that's getting such bad reviews, I sure had trouble going to see it. After arranging for my Sister to babysit, took my family to the theater to find out all the showings for the next 2 hours were sold out.

Guess we'll try again next week.






I think it's another Disney Conspiracy, trying to prevent me from watching that movie!
