No you're not.

They could make him a fun-loving, chatty drag queen and MCU disciples would still spend months afterwards speaking volumes of how great a job the Russos (Feige) did in doing "justice" to the character.

Red Skull, Mandarin, Malekith, Ultron, Darren Cross, Sokovian Zemo...

Feige did them tons of justice.

How long was Apoc standing on those rocks ffs? It looked like classic Trek.

I would watch Ultron MST3K-ing this movie before I'd ever watch it on it's own again.

When Ultron joked about not being able to physically throw up in his mouth I threw up in my mouth. They really diminished the sense of threat from him by making him quippy.

I was so excited for him in the trailers. Massive disappointment.

Saw this again in xd 3d. loved it even more, man that opening!!! cant wait for the next one, this felt like picking up an x-men trade paperback and reading it in one sitting. As much as a hate Jennifer Lawrence she wasn't terrible, her bringing up the original x-men made me a little emotional. For those of you who didn't believe me about it being crowded and people clapping at the end, guess what? The same thing happened and people clapped for both jean and wolverine. I hope they focus on just making the next one and leaving this horrendous trend of "connected universes" alone.

Well said GS, but the writers need to evolve his conflict with the world and the XM plus there needs to be an effort to make his action much more dynamic.

Captain America's shield alone does more than Magneto.

Have Magneto jump over a desk for christs sake.

Magneto is not a dynamic character. He hovers...like a lot, and gives speeches about mutant superiority. He doesn't need to jump around like a monkey...or Capt Merica.

Yes I'm worried that the Russos will make Thanos a joke just like they did with Batroc, the Winter Soldier, Crossbones, Zemo, etc.

Batroc was good with the very limited screentime he had, but nothing spectacular and was pretty much wasted

Winter Soldier was bad ass until the end but he had to turn good anyway

I personally feel like Crossbones and Zemo were both wasted

People argue Loki is the best villain for MCU but I didn't think he was very menacing either and kind of a brat.

I hope they do Thanos justice.

The not-connected Netflix Marvel Universe is kicking the MCU's ass.

Feige just wants action and one-liners. The Netflix shows actually care to develop character and show the struggle of being a hero.

To say I'm more excited about a bunch of Netflix shows instead of $250 million-dollar movies is downright depressing.

He didn't save this movie in my opinion, and DOFP is more of Professor X's movie than anyone else's. Apocalypse just feels like more of the same when it comes to Magneto, I can't see them making him a prominent part of the next movie without doing something that's been done already. He's been in every X-Men film to date, even more than Cyclops
