And don't forget Davy Jones whos face was 100% key framed (no mocap) yet looked more real than Bill Nighy. :lol

What a load of *****- after watching it on blu ray I was amazed anyone thought this was good. Total misfire

Finally mustered up enough energy to prepare myself to finish this movie. Ended a lot better than I was expecting. Still an overall injustice to the XMen franchise - much like almost every other XMen movie, IMO.

I don't think Singer is doing this series any favors.

I agree, but I know I am in the minority concerning DOFP, which I found to be a slog on re-watch. I consider Apocalypse a total failure.

On the other hand, I love X1 and X2, warts and all.

On the other hand, I don't want to put money in the pocket of a probable-****.

So hopefully they find somebody else and make my moral conundrum moot.

Dunno if this was posted before or not.
Armorless Oscapoc feels much more natural.
The character could work better with this look.

I felt the film didn't hit any high notes whatsoever. Although I appreciated the final fight a little more than I did the first time I watched the scene. I've seen all the films numerous times, but this one is definitely never getting rewatched again.

DOFP as I mentioned earlier was a good watch once, but the subsequent views eh. Outside of less than a handful of scenes, it's a mundane film. I also don't know why they picked short stuff to play Trask. Not knocking the guy's acting though.
