The girls look very cute. Looks like the scene is set in a mall, which is a definite 80s vibe. Maybe Singer wanted to pay homage to his own teen years, which is kind of cool to me since we're close to the same age. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the cast looks, and hopefully the costumes will be cool. Thus far I'm all on board for this one.

Yes and yes. I love the vibe so far and I can't wait to see this in theaters. :yess:

The reference is trying to tie older characters from previous Singer films to the current X-Universe. So going forward nods to the previous films or cameos won't work. You'll see Sophie Turner in theory play the older Jean Grey than Famke is all.

I was getting at that. It was the only right thing they did in that abomination. I'm just not fond of the Fabio hair, but everything else was perfect.

Don't make him like a wolf or cat, just make him look like bigfoot.

I loved his look in DOFP, in the comics he goes through various stages of transformation so I'm glad we've gotten several looks for him in each movie.

I've liked all of his looks on film, too. In the comics the cat-Beast came about because of a progression (or regression) of his mutation. I like the idea that mutation doesn't necessarily manifest and then remain constant. It may not be expressed in the script but it makes sense to me.

Yea, I think he was leaving the X-Men during that time. If they're going to try and keep some sort of continuity, then he should have the ape look in this film, I believe he should be close to 40 years old already in this movie.

Yup, looks like they're going the ultimate route by making Havok the older brother.

:yess: (this movie desperatly needs more action inserted into it)

Today, Periscope featured a live-feed of director Bryan Singer direct from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse in Montreal, where he revealed a steel mill set that will feature early on in the story with Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (Michael Fassbender). He also announced that 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release the Rogue Cut of X-Men: Days of Future Past on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD this July 14 with 17 minutes of previously-cut footage, including a subplot involving Anna Paquin’s Rogue!
