Lol it’s definitely to late to go the classic suit route now. The franchise is literally dead now. Hugh is gone and we are back to dark Phoenix . Nothing they can do will win audiences back unless they merge. Deadpool might as well be in a separate universe by the way it looks compared to these previous xmen movies.
They're about as similar to the Lee designs as they are to the original, 1963 designs. But if you get rid of the stupid leg belts/tourniquets, the designs from that issue could work, more or less. Looks like Forge has a neck belt! I think Jim Lee was using those to cut of the air supply to his own brain when he started designing costumes.
If they want to go team uniforms, fine, then the Jim Lee ones would've been faaaaaaar better and the appropriate time period:

Which is what inspired the X-Men First class costumes, which is fine if they reuse them becuase there's no need to redesign the costume.

Delayed til 2019. New mutants delayed and Deadpool show cancelled. Disney isn’t ****ing around. Or maybe fox is in turmoil

Fox in turmoil? What did you just say, civilian?! They're clearly adding in more muh R-rated material to finally bury the MCU once and for all.
This along with Gambit coming, Marvel may as well not release Avengers 4 or anything at all next year. If you disagree with this then we can meet at my gym where I can flex my opinion in my Venom shirt.

Lol. If these movies get canceled I wonder how hard he's gonna hit the gym. He's probably gonna hack the forum again out of rage. Once venom tanks and the rights revert for all Marvel properties you can say goodbye to the forum. The harder he lifts the worse the forum gets.

I was thinking about that. People assumed the worst with Rogue One, and many fans loved it. Release date changes can happen for lots of reasons, and it doesn't have to be a bad thing. I wish a director with a track record was onboard, though, at which point I might have more of a basis for some optimism.
