Xbox One System Discussion

I'm guessing most Gamestops got the systems yesterday. I freelance as a dumpster diver and I saw 2 Gamestops last night with dumpsters OVERFLOWING with large unlabeled boxes.

Most reviews saying this:

Positives:
Better games than PS4 at launch

Negatives:
Hard Drive left with 360gb after Windows 8.
Horrible game load speeds, slower than PS4.
Long set up time.
720p games.
Bluray playback requires an app download.
Have to scream at Kinect to make it respond and even then it opens the wrong program.
Have to remember specific Kinect commands.
Kinect sensative to background noise.
Too many steps to publish game videos.

omg ! tried the xbox one at ebgames. LOAD times are horrible and the kinnect is terrible.

the only game that looks cool is ryse and that is it.
this system is not worth $540

a huge pass for me.

You tried it in "eb" games in all its glory and your conclusion after standing at the booth for 20 or so minutes is its terrible

Im slightly worried why Ryse has been held back until tomorrow for review. Never bodes well when this happens .

Im hoping its left its big hitters until last in forza and Ryse but got a feeling this will fall flat.

That's usually never a good sign. If a publisher is proud of something the usually have no problem with reviews.

That's usually never a good sign. If a publisher is proud of something the usually have no problem with reviews.

I have heard a lot of good things but seems strange. Will find out soon enough.

Gypsy I think the system is going to be really good and the games for it will be great as well I can't wait for friday.

Embargoes dont really mean anything these days. Lots of high scoring games use them too. Im still not sure howthey can simply tell people when they can publish their reviews, but thats another topic.

Im still expecting Ryse to be a good game. I cant imagine Crytek taking the chance on spending so much time developing a new ip only to screw it up. If nothing else, it should be a real showcase type of experience. A good taste of next gen.

even though they announced these games earlier ,, people were more being angry than focusing on the games the console was ready to deliver .. hence they went to the PS4, a console that hardly have any good game at launch compared to the Xbox One .. killzone .. that's it .. so really this Christmas ppl gonna enjoy their Xbox One with dead rising 3, Forza, Killer instinct and prolly Ryse depending on the reception ... while the PS4 ppl got nothing to play with and wait for next year where the games gonna show up..

that's just a fact, and im a guy who only preordered the PS4 and its my honest opinion, the games im gonna play are already On Xbox One & current gen

Sawa demo unit today. It wasn't playable though. My first thought was "good lord, this thing is huge". The actual box is gigantic. Completely squared edges too. I cant decide if its cool looking or the ugliest console of all time. Maybe its both. Its crazy that its coming out tomorrow night. Still cant decide if I want to get it now or wait. Ive barely scratched the surface of my PS4 games.
