Absolutely sick. Front runner for SotY for 1/4 scale.
Yeah, I can't see anything topping this piece for SotY. It looks amazing and having GR on his bike in 1/4 scale is a major tip of the hat to XM for having the courage to pull it off. I love the chances XM takes to give us more elaborate bases. That's just something you usually won't see from other companies.

Hopefully some day SS can distribute for XM, I'd love to add this version of Johnny Blaze to my collection. Congrats to all whom were able to get him though!

XM Won't ship it until the statue (in the box) can survive a tumble down the stairs... that's how they test the packaging :)

I mailed a XM Phoenix to a buyer up in Canada and he said the black box arrived with big dents in it but the statue was 100% ok, had that been packaging from any other company the statue would of probably been completely destroyed...

I agree. XM has exceptional packaging. I haven't had issues with any statues I've received from them. Wish I could say the same for Sideshow. Every time I open a Sideshow box I'm more anxious than excited.

Not only are the packaging from XM exceptional in protecting the statues...but they're also work of art. They look so good, you could also use them as statue stands. Very well made.

One more, hope it will be released this year!

:lecture Sad but true for me as well.

Also... damn this piece is awesome! :rock

Does anyone know what the best way to get a Pre order in for him? Please PM me .

If that IS the final version, it's nice, but I'll pass.

I should expand on that because this piece (and everyone at XM) deserves the MAXIMUM respect.

I'd have preferred clear/opaque tinted resin to the paint - but I have to say that THIS paintwork is about as good as you could possibly get it for paint.

VERY nice job.

However, besides the resin vs. paint discussion, I think I've figured out what was bugging me on this - it's the front wheel. I'm just not a fan of the "wheel of flame" look - preferring the look of a regular bike wheel with flames surrounding it.

So, I've decided not to get this after all, and am certainly not going to buy it just to flip - that's not fair to others.

Best of luck to all of you that get one of these - but given XM's superior attitude to delivery - luck doesn't need to enter into it.
