What is the preorder price and when did it go on preorder?

There was an initial PO of this statue at a Singapore Convention, but it was only for 200 pieces IIRC.

The rest of the 999 have not yet been through a PO. That is still to come. XM has not announced when that PO will be.

As for the price, it was posted in this thread in the earlier pages. I don't know at the moment.

Appreciate the info. I'm pretty sure he was 950SGD at the convention. Does anyone know someone who has can get a PO in for when they list the remainder on thier site. If someone can PM me I would appreciate it.

Thank you

Man I could stare at this statue forever, just amazing. Please post many pics guys. I wanna see every angle of this :love

outside of that price is 1350SGD. Thats what I payed...

chances of securing one now are slim to none... only shot is if your in there allowed delivery zone and are able to snag one on there web site within 1-2min of it showing up. ( they announce day and time it goes live)

Same here. I mean staring through internet images. :lol

I truly can't wait for this one. I've already rearranged my display room to give this guy the most attention. I already have him paid in full, so the sooner the better.

While this is a phenomenal looking statue, XM is producing up to the 999 ES limit. On top of that, is GR really that popular of a character? Everyone thought Thanos and Phoenix were going to skyrocket in the aftermarket and the exact opposite is happening. Those pieces are dropping in price. Peeps that paid the high markup in the aftermarket when they were released are having a difficult time even getting back what they paid for them. Thanos is hanging around a G and Phoenix isn't far from there either. Unless peeps were lucky enough to buy their XM statues at retail, they aren't making much selling XM pieces. Mags is really the only piece still rocking in the aftermarket.

True. And I'm happy for it. It makes waiting for a piece much easier that putting out tons of money for pieces as much as 2 years in advance.

Agreed with some of the points you're making. Time will tell.

XM statues are not good for flipping.

A high retail price and very expensive shipping to north America eat up almost any profit for would be flippers (those @ssholes).

alot tried to stockpile Xm during all the first hype, now look at them in the for sale section with there entire Xm collection for sale at cost just trying to offload it. Those are the ppl who ruin this hobby. Maybe now that this is known with Xm aftermarket value true collectors who will treasure these in there collection for years will have a chance to buy them.

For the most part I try to sell statues at the price I paid for them, I'm not looking to try and take advantage of other collectors... Of course there are some exceptions, I don't think I would sell my Magneto for $900 when it's going for $3000... Given I doubt I will ever sell him but if I did it would probably be like $2000, I feel that's a fair middle price to a fellow collector :)

Excellent! Bravo!!! I can't stand flippers that price gouge others. I had to deal with greedy buzzards like this when a new Masterpiece Transformer was released at Toys R Us...in fact...it's the people that sprint to the TF aisle as soon as the doors opened up that got me out of the AF Masterpiece Transformer line. The hell with that. So I can just imagine how many collectors who would love to own a few XM pieces feel. It's frustrating. If people were able to get their hands on them for reasonable prices...they would truly experience just how amazing these statues really are.

I paid more then that as well, it's very very hard to get this piece with retail.

how is it fair to sell something for almost 3 times what you bought it for? if people are dumb enough to pay scalper prices for something that's fine but don't make yourself out to be some hero for not marking items up as high as you can.

So is there supposed to be a cap on how much money anyone can make on a sale? If people are paying a certain number, then you'd be dumb not to try for it, unless you have a hard-on for selling everything at half of what you paid just to do the community a solid.

i don't care what anyone sells their items at, if people are gonna pay the price let them. just think it's pretty delusional to take some moral high ground about it since there is none.

What a bunch of BS!

If my Magneto is worth $3,000.00 and I'm ready to sell then sure as hell I'm selling it for $3,000.00. Don't care if I paid a quarter for it!

ok ya I have no problem selling for around market value.

What upsets me is the collectors who Live on the forums and buy all the statues lots of times multiples. Hype up the piece all over the net constantly and then list them for crazy amounts and set up a false price market. Thats what happened with XM at first! now that "these ppl" found out its hard to make much on most XM thats why you are seeing the costs of secondhand XM coming down...

as far as any kind of "moral high ground" if you are buying to keep in your display thats a true collector. If you need to sell a few years down the road for w/e reason you sell it for around the natural market value. You dont list something as a pre order, or shortly after release sale 2-3x the price just cause you can, those ppl are the @-holes who ruin this hobby.
