I usually keep the slip covers, but it doesnt make a difference if mine came with it or not.
Oh, and Saving Private Ryan was amazing on Blu-ray!

Me too! And I feel bad when others who don't care get a slipcover and I don't get one.

I bought Avatar a week ago and still haven't watched it.

Me neither. I haven't gotten around to updating my firmware because I just know this disc will require it.

I just dislike what I've read about getting that disc to work in most players that aren't a PS3.

I most likely won't watch it for a while but i've never had any problems with movies that were causing problems for others.
I've got a PS3 and a Sony Blu-Ray player so hopefully it will work on either of them.

I bet you're safe with the PS3. And now that I think of it, it was on Amazon where people were complaining about this disc. Maybe they don't know about firmware updates.
