So the mighty Darth Plagueis has his grand live-action debut and all they had him do was:

The bs retconning crap with making a kyber crystal bleed... :rotfl

So Osha got so mad at squid game guy that she killed him and the crystal turned red?

Meanwhile, how many younglings and Jedi did Anakin kill at the Jedi Temple? Yet when he went to kill the separatists on Mustafar his was still blue.

Disney Star Wars. Either please make it stop or make it make sense.....:slap

I feel like everyone who watched all eight episodes of this show will go to bed tonight and dream of young Gamora asking "did you do it? And what did it cost?"
It was so bad in so many ways I think I need to call 911, coz I feel like I'm missing a kidney.

Often boring, nonsensical, cringe fan fiction trash that made as much sense as a 3 year old on a sugar high and rips off other films like Snyder's Rebel Moon did. So far on YT it's all variants of "it's finally over" like the planet survived an alien invasion.

Maybe LH is an alien trying to imitate a human which would explain a lot.

Don't get me started on Osha. That Amandla Stenberg has ZERO range as an actress. Like when Osha is holding Sol's lightsaber before she Force chokes him to death and her ANGER/RAGE causes the kyber crystal to bleed and turn red as she goes all Sith-y, and all the while she maintains the same lifeless expression as if she's at the salon getting her nails done. I guess all the decent (& smart) actresses her age actually read the scripts and said "No thanks" when they were offered the part.

She went to the Kristen Stewart School of Acting.

Still mystified by the hate. This was a solid show.

Yes, it was cheap and hokey at times, but I’ve seen a LOT worse in my lifetime of watching scifi tv shows.

It would have made a better 2 hour movie.

Full disclosure, I never took adherence to The Lore under consideration. I never cared for lore or canon, so all the complaints about “breaking canon” fell on my deaf, indifferent ears. Lore, schmore.

I would put it as the 4th best season of Star Wars tv, right in the middle. Much better than Obi-Wan and Ahsoka etc.

Plagueis was extremely rich, intelligent and a very powerful Sith. He was the one that taught Palpatine how to hide in plain sight, and got him into the political world.
Seeing him and Yoda associated with this **** show couldn't be more disrespectful to the intelligence of Star Wars fans.
And I can't recall exactly, been awhile since I read the novel, but I'm pretty sure he didn't even have an apprentice until he met Palpatine. So WTF was he doing with Qimir?
And what happened to Osha and Qimir when he decided to train Palpatine? Did The Rule of Two just cease to exist?
I could go on but this crap honestly isn't worth the effort.
What a friggin joke.

My ordering for D+ SW TV:

1 Mando S1
2 Andor S1
3 Mando S2
4. Bad Batch (all seasons)
5 Tales of the Jedi
6 Ahsoka
7 Obiwan
8 Tales of the Empire
9 Acolyte
10 Mando S3
11 Book of Boba Fett

Am I forgetting anything?

Took a while for Lucasfilm to make me hate the planet Tatooine, but after one season of The Acolyte I already hate Brendok and I hope we never see it again.

Yeah I guess we're in the minority cause I thought it was way better than BoBF and Obi Wan. Hopefully a S2 gets made

I don't know if she's an alien, but she had to be trolling Star Wars fans with that mess.

The Acolyte falls into the genre of something that's so bad that you can't even look forward each week to laugh at it, as we could with TBOBF and OWK.

Agreed, pacing of the show was all over the place. Didn’t need 8 episodes.
Full disclosure, I never took adherence to The Lore under consideration. I never cared for lore or canon, so all the complaints about “breaking canon” fell on my deaf, indifferent ears. Lore, schmore.
It doesn’t break lore or canon anyway.

You’re assuming Qimir is his apprentice. Looks more like was there spying.
And what happened to Osha and Qimir when he decided to train Palpatine? Did The Rule of Two just cease to exist?
The rule of two, like all rules, can easily be broken. It’s broken by Maul and Savage.

Dooku tries to break it and fails.

Don’t forget that the Sith are bad, power hungry, people. Why would they follow any rules…

It doesn’t prevent anyone else from claiming to be Sith, or the current Sith apprentice from taking an apprentice of their own in secret.

It just means there can only be 2 true Sith lords at once. Anyone else making the claim can challenge them.
