Although not spot on completely, to me it’s better than Prime 1, Mars, and the HT 1.0.

Prime 1 dropped the ball big time on their cowl sculpt, the tux Bruce Wayne is a little better though, but those two are half scale. Errors in the likeness on a piece that big would drive me crazy.

Keaton has a very expressive face and it's hard to get him right. These are all the sculpts I'm aware of and I still think Blitzway did the best job.

The one that just came out is 1:3. I don think the half scale one is available yet. I agree re: the cowl sculpt being a huge bummer but that's a different discussion. From the photos I’ve seen, the final Keaton sculpt, although not as good as the prototype, is still decent. The hair sculpt alone on the new HT is a deal-breaker for me.

The eyes and lips look good, but combined with the rest of the face the likeness drops for me on the P1 Bruce Wayne 1:3. There’s a bit of stylization going on. Loathe the production cowl sculpt, haven’t seen the production Bruce Wayne yet.

The Mars sculpt has too much volume and thickness in the hair and it doesn’t help that it resembles his costar Robert Wuhl more than him.

Never judge a sculpt off of promo photos, especially Hot Toys, they never look good, are always lit incorrectly and are usually unflattering. If you’d like to actually see prototype sculpts the correct way, I’d recommend keeping an eye on their painter’s IGs, most notably J.C Hong. His photos of the new T-800 show it for what it actually is.

ALl of them are close to each other and depending of scenes, some look more like keaton than others.

Looking at all those phtots, my favorite is the Mars....but that Hot Toys 2.0 is neck and neck/

Keaton is there, just not correctly lit.
Rolling eyes are the only reason I’m not completely sold, they always knock the likeness down a bit, no matter the actor.

Likely the tuxedo look if I did end up making his Bruce Wayne, whenever he isn’t wearing the glasses looks best imo.

Though I don’t own the 1.0 HT Returns BW or the Mars Toys version. How’s the tux on Mars?
Not sure I’d be willing to pay $180+ for a third party tux and champagne glass.

Ideally, I would prefer a suit from Yunsil or Iris but his BW isn’t as important for a $500+ clothing run or three year wait times. Nor do I see it gaining enough traction to become a reality these days. There really isn’t many 1:6 collectors left now.

The best Keaton head sculpt is the one from Flash. The likeness is perfect. I wish they could just use that head, but with less wrinkles for the new batman and it would also work for Beetlejuice. Oor just get that sculptor to sculpt all the Keaton figures.

The turtle neck sweater look is such a unique Keaton Bruce Wayne that it always stands out from all the tux and suited versions later on.

Ended up making my own as it is overlooked by all parties.

Were you the one that helped me kit bash this turtle neck Keaton Wayne figure?

If so, thanks. Someone recommended all the parts needed on eBay (or AliEx?). I remember there was a hotly contested debate of what color Keaton’s shoes were in that scene. :lol

I feel like the proportions of the body is a little off but if he’s sitting in a chair, it’s not that bad - hopefully Hot Toys (or JazzInc) will give us an accompanying 89 BatComputer.

Was watching Dean Knight’s old review of the Returns batman and realized the new diorama base is very much inspired by the 1/6 Tweeterhead Catwoman statue base.

So the cape included with this Batman is the same one bundled with the ‘89 2.0 Batman, we think? Right down to having the pockets for the rods (not included).

Did something similar. Was the Sweater tucked in or out? I have my own tucked in.

Also anyone know about Kilmer. I know he had the same turtleneck I THINK for the movie. Was that also the same jeans look as Keatons?

Think I'd give a slight edge to Mars myself. The HT tries to give him too much of a square jawline.
