LOL My pictures suck Here are some more,not much better.I'll leave the pics to someone that can take them,but i just wanted to show how the paint looks like it has some thumb prints or something like that.It probably needs a good buff and it should look better.

As a plus, I had a very cute Fed Ex delivery girl who asked what was in the box since she remembered bringing another Sideshow box to my house before so she was curious. I explained the IM bust to her and she thought that was pretty cool!

Ronnin hope to see the repaint of your IM bust. Have to add a few bolts to the chest and the helmet. It's gonna be cool your Mark 2 repaint. Hope you would post pics once your done.

I did and they emailed me back and said their first wave comes in 7-10 business days. They are having SS ship them directly but they are getting them in three waves he couldn't tell me what shipment I would be in until they themselves figured out how many they are allocated.

Tuggernaut and Everybody else who has received their IM Bust. In shows up in pics, the smudge on the forehead of the bust. Can you see it in person or does this only show up in pics?

It does show on the front,but it looks a lot worst on the pictures than in person.i'm gonna try a little wax on it,and see how it looks.I've seen some of the problems related to the sim and don't think this are even close to that.oh and he is taller than the spidey 1:1.

Now that my bust has properly defrosted a few pictures...

It looks great in pictures and from a distance...but the paint application is really starting to bug me in person. It is smooth and then all of a sudden be roughly textured in spots like the front of the shoulders. They could have done a better job inside the neck area and on the back of the neck. This isn't a paint job I expect for $700.

The black wash in some of the panel lines is a little heavy or sloppy around the face plate. I noticed that I could gently scrape off the excess with my fingernails.

The paint application is rough in a couple places and it isn't really painted too well on the inside of the neck. There are also a few faint paint rubs and scratches on it so I need to decide if they bother me enough to try get a better painted replacement. Plus, I probably wouldn't see a replacement for months.

It just pisses me off that this bust is so very incredible looking and satisfying to have in my collection yet so poorly finished off with the sanding and painting for the price tag on it. There are also a few smaller paint scuffs on the sides of the head. Also, it does look a little smaller than it feels like it should be for a guy in armor (I know RDJ is a smaller guy) but I would love to see this right next to the actual suit for a size comparison.

I will try get some better pictures tomorrow in some better natural light.
