1:1 Iron man Bust

The biggest issue with mine which is hard to capture in pictures is the paint application on the inside of the neck. There is barely any paint in that one area and it looks white which is very noticeable in person. I could live with a minor issue or two but not an area that didn't get painted.

yikes! that isnt good at all.........i think i will have to pick one up on ebay if i am going to get this, so i can at least get see what i am getting before i buy it.........paint issue like that would piss me off

Those issues shouldn't happen on a piece that costs this much. At that price level the number of issues should be quite limited or almost zero.

I do wish I would have been able to get this and not cancel my order.

Yeah i was afriad this was gonna happen i saw these at my LCS they had a proto wayy back in nov on display. The paint looked really off on the neck. Sorry to here the production one are coming out the same.

its just hard for me to understand how they messed up so bad on the paint app, for one, it is an easy two tone app........its not the predator, nor a piece like venom that have extreme detail in them that make them great up close to look at. it seems like SS is more bout profit these days than the quality they had years ago, and it defn shows with higher edition sizes and crappier paint apps. i have never questioned ss sculpts, but the paint apps are going down hill.....how many months was this post poned?? for all of that and they turn around such a flawed paint job is pretty horrible.

Dude, if this piece is going to be in your collection for life, you can return it and wait a few more months or maybe more to get one that has minimal or (only in our dreams) no defects at all. Sideshow should not be sending us crap like this. I haven't received my bust yet, so I am very nervous about it right now.

I couldn't agree more.... The paint app on this is pretty straight forward. This piece doesn't have INSANE detail at all. A lot of flat surfaces to be painted and small groove to fill in. No shading really, and it STILL came out this crappy?!?! I hate to say it, by I had a feeling this was coming

You must be kiddin me though, $700 for something SO simple and you STILL mess up??? C'mon SS..... You puhed this back for SO long!!!! Flaws like these are totally UNACCEPTABLE with the circumstances of this piece (high price tag and an severely postponed release date)

This is a little random, but can someone clarify: Does Fedex delivery Ground on Saturdays but UPS Ground doesn't? I get Fedex all the time on Saturdays, but NEVER UPS.

I am very happy to say that my IRON MAN BUST is in perfect condition. The paint application is unreal.
This is one of the collest thing I have seen from sideshow.

picture dont so it right!!! FACE TO FACE this thing is AMAZING !!! no word to describe it.

I am going to shoot video on him tonite and have a full video review up tomorrow.

1:1 SCALE brings you closer to the movie.
I know 12" Iron man Ht is comming and it looks unreal but This thing just captures your attention right away.

just breathtaking and striking to have in your room.

All STAN WINSTONS bust's are works of ART and knowing that this was STAN'S last project while he was alive makes it even more Symbolic.
