I have only pre-ordered 2 Hot Toys figures this year -- This and the single Batman Returns figure (I bought 2 other figures after being impressed by the final product reviews), and I'm happy that I'm putting my money on a great figure :) Looking forward to more pictures from those who are getting early stocks!

Thank you centrocal for posting. :yess: :hi5:

Here some shots - i really dig the proportions, have a look at the comparison next to the tiny 1/6, especially the helmet is so much better:

I've never taken so much photos of a single figure. It's incredible, check out my blog for all photos:

Sweet review! I give in ...I'm now committed to ordering this. I think I will do so on Christmas when I should be getting some gift cards.

I'm more and more blown away by this guy every day. Usually, with most collectibles, the honeymoon phase dies down steadily, until I can finally acknowledge and accept its awesomeness, then debate whether I really need it in my collection. This guy though, I can't believe the detail, engineering, quality, and realism of it. It is pretty much everything I wanted, except for that stupid damn base. Hot Toys is really something special. This pretty much guaranteed my purchase of the 1/4 Mark XLV and whatever else HT decides to do in 1/4 scale, like their Vader. Only issue is that I'm starting to become very spoiled by HT, especially by their headsculpts.

I was originally bummed by having missed out on Iron Studios's MK XLIII, as that came out incredibly well, but if 1/4 IM is going to be like this, then honestly, I'm damn glad I went with HT. Anyone who dismisses HT for being mere toys is seriously missing out, and that comes from a big statue fan. The likeness, and detailing that HT puts into most of their products is unparalleled. Yes, there is articulation. Yes, there are joints, and yes, HT loves dead stares, but if you have any knowledge of human physiology, a few movie stills, or even a damn imagination, you can make figures look incredibly lifelike, and natural, in most cases.

Anyway, this figure is amazing. I'm not the best photographer, so I won't be posting too many more pics, but I had to post at least one of that stupid awesome RDJ headsculpt.

Congrats bro and awesome shot there of the crazy good RDJ portrait! :clap I also purchased the Iron Studios MK43 and even though its undoubtedly one of the best Iron Man 1/4 Scale statues made to date, i always knew that this MK43 by Hot Toys would be better...and even though i still dont have it inhand, i can already envisage from all the reviews and pics that i've seen so far, that i was definately right! This is the one to own!

I'm glad I bid everything on this piece, not even try to get the Iron Studios statue...I'm a statue collector but this piece wow, you can't even tell it's a figure from some pictures! :yess:
Now, Sideshow, when?
