Looks great! Really thought I was going to receive a SS gift card that I was contemplating on using towards this figure. Instead, I got a really nice gift card to ****'s Sporting Goods. Hint from the fiancee: you're not getting help from me to buy toys, buy yourself workout gear and hit the gym! :lecture :lol

In her defense though I don't think she takes me seriously when I tell her I think these figures are a work of art to display :dunno

Thanks dude, I feel you ;)

A picture of my mk42 1/6 scale next to my 1/4 scale mk43, some interesting differences

Seriously in some photos this guy looks like he's 1:1 ;)

Is this your first 1/4 scale figure? If so, will you consider getting more? The Mark 7 was my all time favorite suit but the 42/43 design has completely won me over. I will be getting the 42 for sure. Hopefully HT will make it battle damaged with the injured head sculpt like the 1/6th version.

Yes it's my first 1/4 scale & now I've been bitten, will definitely be getting another, ideally I'd love a 1/4 captain America to display together! but would also love a mk7 in this scale. Also I'm Really liking the future armours - mk45/46
Wouldn't go for a 42 but only because i have it in 1/6 scale even though in the shots at the toy fair it looks amazing!!!

I'd love a 1/4 Cap and Thor. And any other Avengers they might decide to give us. Welcome to the club!

Can't wait to get this figure and my Boba Fett. I'm ending my collection off with 1/4 scale. I'll also be getting 1/4 Vader and Stormtrooper and that's me out of the game.

One thing I love about the new figure is that they made the eyes and repulsors white so that the suit will appear to be on even when the lights are not being used. They even provided a solid white arc reactor replacement but I feel like the implementation leaves mixed results. It works better for photography purposes than for everyday display. I just find it too flat and bland. A better implementation would have been to place something white and reflective behind the clear arc so that you keep the detail but also get the white effect. So that's what I did with white reflective tape. I think it looks much better this way.

When the light catches it, it really does appear to be on. So glad that I can achieve this look without removing panels and flipping switches!

Nice job! Gotta say I like him standing in front of the base. More museumlike but still cool, and you can still display the base.

I wish all the 1/6 figures also came with the covers for the chest piece and that EVERY helmet had the white plastic behind the eyes so it could at least appear like they're on when they're not.

The WM Mark II, IP, Mark XLII and XLIII do this with the eyes, though I like the way it's done on the WM Mark II/IP the most. I think Silver Centurion is also like this...have to check my shelf again.
