Thanks! It was getting dark, so I didn't really have time to set up a background or get it into any particularly interesting poses, so I just stuck the eye and arc reactor lights on and took a few shots. Looking forward to taking some better ones at some point.

Yeah true the wait for this guy is crazy I can't even stand it. I am in Indonesia and it will take another 3 months at least until I get this guy on hand.

I am just a bit disappointed that there are only around 5 reviews of this guy in YouTube. Anyone have any other references to this review?

Have you guy seen in Facebook a guy named John Woo posted his prediction for HT Ironman line including 1/4 for Iron Patriot, Mark 1,4,5,6 and 46 starting from 2016 to 2020. What are your thoughts on that?

It would be a similar length of time for me if I had waited for the UK retailers to stock it. Glad I didn't! Funnily enough, I actually got it cheaper than it would have been if I had waited.

I haven't seen that, but I'd imagine that we'll see at least the III, VI or VII, and a War Machine in the future. Probably more, depending on how well this, the 42, and the 45 sell. Personally, I hope they leave it after the 45 - really don't want to get into 1/4 scale!

why does it take so long until Sideshow gets this figure? how long has it been released in HongKong now? over 4 weeks?

Because it takes time for hot toys to get it set and shipped. Then it floats across the ocean on a ship. Then it has to be unloaded at the port. Then it has to be reloaded onto the correct truck to go to the correct place. Then sideshow has to do inventory, repack, get them all ready to ship out to each customer. And they do this with thousands of products a month. I've ordered a magazine direct from China and it's taken 45 days to get to my house. Not hard to see why it takes time.

thanks for the explanation!

Man, what I wouldn't give for this to come with a helmet reveal like the 1/6 version. I don't recall if he flips the visor in the film at all, but it's often my favorite way to display him. Given that there's no other plans to do a helmet reveal at this scale (as of yet) by HT, I'll just have to make do. Unless some really talented customizer has at it.

My guess is that the 42 will come with this type of helmet. And I think 42 and 43 use the same helmet down to the color scheme.

Once I read that the shipping date was moved I called SS and changed my flex payment to full payment. I didn't want to wait till March to get this bad boy.

This was done on the 1/6 version as well by Barry on this forum. Would need an extra sculpt and helmet though. You just hollow out the inside of the helmet and shave the sculpt down to the face.

Might come with the 1/4 Mark 42 though.
