Siiiick. Hm maybe I'll just get yet another detolf for this guy...having trouble finding anything else that he will fit in for a good price.

Gonna have an acrylic box made for the guy! Want to be able to put him in just about any pose and on the base if I choose. Is 10"x10"x24" tall sufficient or should I go even bigger - perhaps 12x12x26" tall?? I want room but don't want him to get 'lost' in the case.

Thanks!

If you extend the arm outwards 10x10 might be too cramped. 12x12x26 sounds better. If you have him on the base that will leave about 3" above his head.

I would wait till you had it in hand before having a custom case built. You may not want it posed on the stand, or you may want flaps out or a ton of other differences that may not work with a case of a particular size. But that's me.

Does this figure come with detailed instructions?? I am afraid to mess with the double joints and battery covers with out detailed instructions. If not maybe one of the experts can post a 'how to'.

Agreed. Thanks!! But will prob end up with 12x12x25.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I was really worried about breaking some of the more delicate parts off at first but they're really quite sturdy. The whole figure has a nice solid feel.

Good to know. I am not good with delicate parts.

Some of the armor panels are wayyy tight on mine. I'm usually good at not being a pansy with this stuff but man it feels like I'm really going to break them. I've yet to get about a 1/3rd of them open.

Uh oh..I'll make sure not to open the box on a Saturday when I am usually drinking Makers 46.......I did this with my Sandtrooper and getting the backpack on while drinking almost ended up with the damn thing being thrown off the balcony....lol...

Yeah, some of mine were really tight too. I've found that the best way to open them is to slide the plastic tool in and use it to prize them open. It feels risky in the beginning but as long as you don't go straight in with a lot of force you should be fine.

Haha, I tend to leave my Hot Toys well alone if I've had a drink!

I found the thigh and leg panels to be pretty tricky. Definitely take your time and use the provided tool. Also I had a heck of a time removing the head to put the RDJ sculpt on.

I thought it was just mine! Getting the neck out was an absolute nightmare. I've only taken it out twice, the first time it came out after a fifteen minute struggle, the second I had to use some string. Haven't been in a rush to try again...

Yea.. That neck piece is a PAIN!! There is no good place to grip it and I thought I was going to pull the ball joint through the plastic when I pulled there.

That's exactly what happened to me, which is why I resorted to using the string. I checked a review online and it seemed to come out okay for them so I thought it was just mine that was really tight. I made a real mess of it actually, I damaged that velvety lining and had to remove it completely.
